I'm thinking the 2019-20 season. But maybe the year prior if this class turns out to be better than expected. Of course, Tubby will need to sign a quality 2018 class.

Once it shifts to a one opinion board, and the guys with that opinion gang up, there is generally a loss of interest/ traffic. I manage a martial arts board. lol. So I've had some experience with bullies.

Some of you guys (not pointing fingers) are going that route. You are not refuting the different points, you are attacking posters. Big diff.

People I know in Memphis come to the ORG just to lurk. If you look at the number that do so now, you might notice that it appears to be down. It's true that less folks hang around in the off season, so we'll see how the numbers pan out when a real season starts.

All I know is, the last Tiger's BB game threads here were abysmally down. I know this for a fact, because I participated in the threads and watched both BB games till the end... even saw Kaleb Castro hit the long three in the closing secs of the SMU game. lol.

Stammers speaks for many with the same opinion about the Tubby plan. I would not describe him or any of us as angry or miserable. We are actually pretty logically thinking folks who can separate our thinking from our emotions.

The next time I'm in Memphis at a FB tailgate, I will invite you to come say howdy. Pretty sure many of you won't be saying the same things to me there, that you have said here..if you even show up. lol

You do not need to own up. Every Tiger fan wants success for Tubby because it means success for the team. It is a complete misnomer that some posters are Tubby haters bent on his destruction. .

I know this doesn't apply to everyone, but several of those who are really down on Tubby were pretty staunch Pastner supporters and probably don't share the opinions of some of us as to how low the program had sunk. I think that's why they don't think fixing things should be that big a deal.

The Keelon situation is a good example. If you didn't think that was a bad idea from the start, you probably don't think losing him was desirable. If you did, you're probably more likely to see the departure as a step in the right direction.

Different people looking at the same situation see completely different things, and that fuels a lot of the arguing. As has been stated, everybody will be happy if we win, and winning would unite the fanbase -- but that's not the only way to do it. This year we won't be very good, but if we're not the following year, there'll be a lot more unity and a lot less arguing.

There were extenuating Big12 circumstances in those last years with P that kept some of us from being vocal about the need for him to go.

None of which addresses your ridiculous theory of some re-branding of the Highland Strip driving our Big 12 expansion efforts. Absurd.
