With that said, it does seem that Xavier has sold his soul. While it hasn't sunk to depths of the Huggins days, it is interesting and refreshing to be associated with the more "wholesome" team.

But we are the wholesome team that can't get out of the 1st weekend.

I don't know about that. They've had three arrests in the past year, one of which was for repeated domestic violence. And he was let back on the team before ultimately quitting. Perhaps I'm forgetting the timing of some of our transgressions (I'm quite skilled at forgetting/ ignoring the past when it suits me), but I don't remember this kind of regularity at any point. Regardless, it is indeed refreshing to be associated with the MUCH more wholesome team.

I really don't take any joy in another team being associated with crime. The Myles Davis/Dez Wells stuff was worrisome because it involved unusual cases of violence.

JP Macura and Trevon Blueitt could have just as easily been one of our guys.

Agreed. But what other things have been swept under the rug at XU with the campus keystone cops that if done by a UC athlete gets splashed all over the front page of the fishwrap called the enquirer. UC also likely has 3-4 times the total number of student athletes due to football.

If you must know, I have never seen "reefer madness"and never intend to do so. I am too busy trying to make life better, safer and more purposeful for those people who rely on me, including family, friends and clients alike. But I appreciate your interest in how I spend my time.
