Exciting times to be a Panther indeed! Go Panthers!
Good luck to all our C-USA brothers this week as well.
How many to do you guys have room for?
You are at 27 now anymore is a huge class.
I know we only have room for 18 maybe 19,20

Same story with how a MAC team would do in the Big Ten. WMU's class is all flipping to Fleck.
Just seems like lazy recruiting to me, I know they did not have much time but our staff has hit it hard and getting guys in....Purdue is ranked dead last in recruiting this season and I am almost fairly certain our classe and commits we had to WKU talent wise is not going to stack up with the upper echelon of the Big TEn..Looks like Purdue is pouring in Money to try to compete in the Big TEn...Its going to be interesting to watch both Brohm and Fleck and see if they can change the culture at these schools and actually give the upper teams a run for their money....I assume Brohm wants to compete with the powerhouse Big TEn schools, classes like this season will not do it...
I am hearing he is not going away, so now not only WKU have to compete with UK and UofL for in state guys we also now have Purdue in our own backyard grabbing kids....Looks like the same philosophy Brohm had at WKU applies several hundred miles away too..Most disappointing thing is losing in state kids left and right, what happened to stay closer to mom to so she can come to games? Seems shady what is happening especially just a few weeks ago most of our class said they were 100% committed to WKU, what has happened since then?..When Taggart left for South FLordia he took hardly and commits and or transfer, same with Petrino...Also rumblings now we are going to have a few key players also transfer to boilermaker land...

These kids are just trolling and love the game.
My roommate works for 247 and kids tell him all the time that they are going to send out tweets about they will tweet about how much they love one schools and change it up at a later date.
Kids love just messing with fans and coaches and I think it's funny because its the one time they have control.
Also when it comes to closer to "mom' that is a factor with some kids, but not as many anymore.
Kids are on TV no matter where they go and it's about relationships with coaches.
I do not know how big this is in KY, but in south florida pretty much every three star and up from South Florida has handler that controls what they do and where they go. For many coaches they have to go through the handlers before they talk to the kids it's just a business.

The actual list of true commitments (from both sides) is closer to 24-25. One of them enrolled in December, so he might count to last year's class and you can reduce that number to 23-24. If I'm not mistake and rules haven't changed since last time, I believe you can sign up to 27 LOI players. Of those, you can have up to 25 football scholarship players per year. Apparently, we have space for a full class. So, we might be able to sign....without asking players to gray shirt and/or other "decommitments" we may not know about.....from 2 to 4 extra players without making other choices.
Exciting stuff.
Good luck to all C-USA schools on Wednesday.

Given our current TV situation do you care to correct this statement?

No, but as much as we complain I was able to watch every FAU game last year and only 1 had to be streamed online only.

I like how the Walmart LSU fans are saying he wouldn't have gotten much playing time in Baton Rouge or that the staff didn't really want him and he was just a fallback since he committed to us.

4* WR James Robinson says he in considering USF, FIU, Marshall, and WKU, among other schools on National Signing Day. He was just busted with possession of marijuana on his OV to Ohio St. UF pulled his offer. He is ESPN's #11 WR. If he can correct the mistake, he would be a tremendous pickup for anyone.

We've got a couple guys with those sorts of offers also. Below is one of 'em. Had to paste his offers in two pics...

Your class is really impressive. Is your statement in regard to the 2017 class or about future years?

If the point of that video was to get FAU some coverage, it's working
Lane will draw coverage no matter what he does and I do not care more will watch whether they love it or hate it.
It's fun being the center of college football and if Lane making an awkward video is what gets you there then fine.
FAU sold more season tickets this of January in than another January school history.
Our class has climbed to 3rd in the conference and we have the highest per player rating.
