And whoever we bring in as HC will select their own Coordinators.

He's been a Running Back coach for 8 years (the position he played at UM) at 6 different colleges, so naturally that translates into being the HC to follow PJ Fleck at Western. 07-coffee3

I'm not even convinced seasoned OC's or DC's with much more broad-based experience than Tyrone Wheatley are qualified to be a Head Coach. Bill Cubit was an outstanding OC, not the best HC.

PJ Fleck didn't have the X's and O's smarts to be a good coordinator, but he knows how to assemble a winning program and market it to fans, supporters, HS recruits and the media. And THAT'S what it takes to be a successful head coach.

It's not just that it was some. It was that his new follows were ALL Broncos/Recruits.

It might just be that M is looking at poaching some of our recruits, too. Besides, that rumor started on MGoBlog. I wouldn't put much stock in it.

That's why Les doesn't like to be on twitter too much, likes to hide in the shadows. Doesn't want all of these rumors swirling. He knows he's walking into the job, KB and Les actually go quite a ways back.

Michigan's #4 in the 247 composite. I don't think they need to poach Western.

I will say - it would be nice to hear some chatter - for any candidate... we're going on day 4 and there is nothing - not a peep - about anyone.

Haha - may well be - but still - wouldn't mind some noise.

RE: Les Miles - Yes
Apparently, if news stories are correct Miles walked into Houston interview with a resume folder made by ex LSU assistant that was a cobbed up mess. When asked to outline his plans for Houston football he couldn't answer basic questions about Cougar football. Minnesota gave him barely two hours and the door.

"I'm Les Miles where do I sign"

Please - blog-esque 3rd person comments. Houston wanted their guy, they're just trying to save face.

I'm trusting KB to read the tea leaves and make the right decision.
