RE: Next head coach
I guess it depends how much "within" Fleck takes with him.

Fleck engrained so much of himself EVERYWHERE in the program. It goes way beyond removing RTB from everything.

If we can grab some continuity, I say grab it.

What was Boise's approach going from Hawkins to Peterson?

QB battle and our next 2 games are @USC and @MSU. I don't know if Cirocca would be a good CEO, but it might be worth a shot to keep our offense in tact.

A source tells me that The Spirit Shoppe is expecting a shipment of brown and gold sweater vests.

Are you alluding to Jim Tressel... ? It would definitely fit the Andy Murray hire profile...

Tressel said within the last year that coaching again is not in his future.

The Spirit Shoppe doesn't do 'Brown and Gold'. Only black, gray, silver, and more black.

I would hope that PJ would allow for one of his coordinators to entertain an offer from WMU, but it will be interesting to see.

As I mentioned in a previous thread, LSU is paying Les approximately $10mil over the next 6 years. Just as Charlie Strong did at USF recently, he took less money because he is getting paid by Texas. Les could do the same and have money for the assistants. Les has also made mention that he has people that he would bring in already lined up as assistants.

He has a career 141-55 record. Hard to shake a stick at that.

Again, administration should look first at Ciarrocca and Pinkham for continuity.

Can't imagine both of them wouldn't want the job, but only then go outside.

My first choice would be Tony Annese from Ferris State.

I am starting to like the idea of Les Miles to WMU... could possibly retain the recruits... re-brand our program... de-Fleck it if you will... and who knows... might actually stick around until his 6 year buyout is over... Could do quite a bit in 6 years... and maybe we have another young buck lined up by then...

Les loves to run the ball...31 and 32 do that pretty well...has a staunch defense, we have some good guys returning...I hope that he at least has conversations with KB and WMU.

RE: Next head coach
Question is if Miles would be willing to consider a G5 job, even a "hot" one like ours. He has only coached at P5 and NFL levels previously.

Snoop Dawg makes sense, I mean one of his songs was our team intro onto the field this season at Waldo, it was meant to be LOL

1 - already in Texas for FCS Championship, would have to be next week
2 - Free Agent and available with buyout $$$ from LSU
3 & 4 - great options to keep momentum
5 - don't think he would see this as a big enough move to leave Fargo
6 - wildcard, offensive innovator who likes to run the ball

Matt Mitchell at GVSU?

The tone and content of the noon presser should be interesting. Wonder if it will be streamed?
