Everyone is capable of coming to disagreement and can make their own rankings. You can rank ECU first if you want. Doesn't mean it can't come off looking silly (and putting anyone on top except Navy is silly imo, transitive logic be damned).

Except USF manhandled Navy for 30 minutes and ultimately won the game. Navy may be the best team right now, and if they beat Temple I will cede. Until then I think it's Temple, USF, Navy.

It was really only 15 minutes of manhandling that got the 28-0 lead. 45-24 Navy after that - and yes, majority of that was against USF starters.

That's fine. South Florida also missed everyone out west except Navy. If they came to Houston, especially in September and November, that would have been a loss.

RE: Week 12 - Rank'em
The SMU game was a fluke (a legit beating but fluke of circumstance) and the Memphis game was a coin flip. USF would have been thrashed if they came this way.

I get being a fan and all. But seriously, how can anyone think Tulsa should be #1. Lol. Win your division first, then you'll have a case.

RE: Week 12 - Rank'em
Means nothing. Houston smashed a team that smashed Florida State, who in turn smashed USF. All that and a hill of beans will get you nothing, we just don't know because they didn't play and transitive logic won't cut it.

RE: Week 12 - Rank'em
Nice try, it's not the same exact teams as last year but Houston pushed around Florida State last season and they bullied USF and were routed by the same team that lost to UH. For good measure, UH even beat Temple. It's all transitive logic.

2. Temple - one AAC loss at MEMPHIS but beat USF, thus East winner and ranked ahead of the Bulls
3. USF - Normally would've won the East; very good team; virtual toss up with...
4. Tulsa - Two tough losses in AAC but....it does COUNT as two losses; very good team.
5. MEMPHIS - Finished strong by winning 3 of last 4 games; tough loss against USF, 5-3 in AAC.
6. Houston - Beat two ranked teams; 5-3 in AAC is much less than anticipated or advertised; lost coach
7. UCF - Nice reversal from 0-12 in 2015; bowl bound in 2016; next year can perhaps beat a winning team
8. SMU - Good season, a bit of collapse after Houston win; possible breakthrough next year to a bowl bid
9. Tulane - Improved, smoked UConn in final; played Navy, SMU, MEM and UH tight; competitive.
10. Cincinnati - Disappointing season; 1-7 in final 8 games = collapse; but had that one win over....
11. East Carolina - Sad season, bad offense; 1-9 in final 10 games with only one AAC win and that was over...
12. UConn - Horrendous season, ugly; 1-8 in final 9 games, poor coaching; just downright FUBAR program
Pretty much agree with this ranking. I might put Houston over Memphis only because of the 2 wins against highly ranked teams, but as you point out, they have been inconsistent and were beaten by Memphis. In reality, the top 6 could all make a case and any one of them could be the AAC's best team, were it not for a stumble here, a call there.

Exactly lol. Beating cupcakes makes him feel some kind of way
UCF beat UConn, East Carolina, Cincinnati, and Tulane, we have a better record than SMU, and haven't lost to Memphis in almost three decades. My rankings have been settled. Disagree? Post your own ranking.

We didn't play so we'll never know. But it's highly doubtful we lose to Memphis. We beat Memphis during our 4-8 ('06), 4-8 ('08), and 5-7 ('11) seasons.
Can't wait until we play next year to lay this to rest.
