The rest.... who cares.

But the AAC West was hands down superior than the AAC East.

As for Tulsa's close win against Cincy.... GOOD TEAMS find ways to win. Tulsa had 3 turnovers and also failed to get any points deep inside Cincy territory in the first half (went for it on 4th down instead of going for the FG). Tulsa's mistakes helped shift 17 points to Cincy. Again, crap happens during f-ball games but good teams find ways to win. Tulsa's destruction of Memphis speaks for itself. Tulsa's 3 losses came against Ohio State, Houston and Navy (ALL ON THE ROAD and 2 of those losses are smoked with controversial blown calls and bad calls at the end of the game).

Tulsa is a top 15 offense with a defense that can make just enough plays. Tulsa is good and ranking them behind Memphis, Temple and USF is **** bat crazy.

This is hilarious... USF beats every team on that list

Not Houston

Houston fell to Navy, Memphis, AND SMU...

RE: Week 12 - Rank'em
Well Tulane only won a single conference game, vs. UCONN. UCONN is an easy dead last then.

Tulane played a few AAC teams close (including NAVY).

Tells me we are a 9-11 w/ an 11 by performance and a 9 by threat.

1. Navy
2. Houston
3. Temple
4. Tulsa
5. USF
6. Memphis
7. UCF
8. SMOOOOOO
9. Cinci
10. Tulane
11. ECU
12. UCONN

Week 12 - Rank'em
I figured we would be 10 or 11 so some progress this year. I'm torn on wanting Chad to stay or not. Buyout from Baylor will go along way for a new staff.

I agree. The Owls better score on every possession and keep the ball as long as possible on every score. Navy is likely to put up close to 50 and do it 6 yards at a time. They are a machine right now.

RE: Week 12 - Rank'em
1. Navy - swept the West; won the West; hosts the title game; no doubt on # 1
2. Temple - one AAC loss at MEMPHIS but beat USF, thus East winner and ranked ahead of the Bulls
3. USF - Normally would've won the East; very good team; virtual toss up with...
4. Tulsa - Two tough losses in AAC but....it does COUNT as two losses; very good team.
5. MEMPHIS - Finished strong by winning 3 of last 4 games; tough loss against USF, 5-3 in AAC.
6. Houston - Beat two ranked teams; 5-3 in AAC is much less than anticipated or advertised; lost coach
7. UCF - Nice reversal from 0-12 in 2015; bowl bound in 2016; next year can perhaps beat a winning team
8. SMU - Good season, a bit of collapse after Houston win; possible breakthrough next year to a bowl bid
9. Tulane - Improved, smoked UConn in final; played Navy, SMU, MEM and UH tight; competitive.
10. Cincinnati - Disappointing season; 1-7 in final 8 games = collapse; but had that one win over....
11. East Carolina - Sad season, bad offense; 1-9 in final 10 games with only one AAC win and that was over...
12. UConn - Horrendous season, ugly; 1-8 in final 9 games, poor coaching; just downright FUBAR program

I selected USF first over Navy because USF beat Navy, USF has a better record currently, and USF has the highest Massey rating in the AAC.

I still think it's
1. Temple
2. USF
3. Houston
4. Navy
5. Memphis
6. Tulsa
(Top 6 BTW all in the F+/- top 54... the league has really been solid this year at the top)
7. UCF
8. SMU
9. Tulane
10. Cincinnati
11. ECU
12. UConn

(Bottom 3 could really go either way)
