Derek Rose rape case
So sad

This man has no character. This is just sad. Listen to this:

"I was assuming that all of us going over there that she wanted to have sex with all of us," Rose testified.

No means no. And the fact that he has now admitted to the act of sex with her with all of his buddies does not bode well for him. His career could possibly end up in prison. So sad

It's a civil trail and as much people hate D. Rose here, it looks like money grab from the woman.

Read some of the testimony. Not good. But I do not think it was rape.

No jail time. It's a civil case.

You have a pretty bad bias against Rose if anything in this trial make you think there was a rape.

He looks like a promiscuous guy with little respect for easy women so far but there is zero evidence of rape and pretty strong indications of a shakedown by the woman in question.

This trial makes him look like a cad not a criminal

You have to have a big bias FOR Rose to assume there was NOT a rape.

Come on folks did you even read his own testimony?

"In my mind, she consented every time we had sex. Why wouldn't she do it that time?" he said.

Rose said he never received any text message from the woman telling him she wanted to have sex with him and the two others. He said he assumed consent from what had transpired previously and the fact that she had never told him no.

Are we to believe that this woman threw herself at him IN HIS HOUSE and he rebuked her. But later decided that he changed his mind and took two of his friends with him to her house to do what he claimed he would not do just a few hours earlier??????

Even in his own testimony he admitted she said NO.

Seen many men sent to prison with less evidence.

It's a money grab. Why would she take it to civil court if she was raped?

I feel like rape needs to be taken more seriously, but this just smells fishy. 2 years and then she wants moola? No formal charges? She doesnt want her rapist in jail? Nah. Ain't buying it.

Case would be weak in criminal case due to his celebrity status and her intoxication. Along with needing an unanimous vote by jury. BUT the testimony in the civil case is helping to build a stronger criminal case.

Rose is now on the record admitting that she never invited him over for sex. Admitting that she never gave her consent. Admitting that she did say no. Admitting that once the first guy finished she tried to craw off the bed and they pulled her back on.

None of his would come out in criminal case because he could not be forced to testify. But now his own testimony and admission is on the record.

Have to wonder if this was some guy off the street instead of a former Tiger if so many people would be willing to give him a pass?

Yeah I'm really embarrassed over 4 straight 30 win seasons, 1 sweet 16, 2 elite 8s and 1 final four

And no I don't give a flying you know what about what some ncaa ruling is since they don't seem to care about North Carolina's 2 decades of academic fraud

Consent happens in far more ways that via text messages. I am assuming you have not been with many women if that is the only way consent is valid in your mind.

Sounds like it might be 07-coffee3
Using the word 'gal' instead of 'chick' or 'hoe' is kinda interesting tho.

It's hard enough to determine guilt or innocence even when you are in courtroom and hear all evidence presented. These sound bites and two paragraph articles are laughable. Please don't think they give you the facts you need to prove a presumed innocent man guilty.

Even OJ case required more than a short daily article and Court TV gave it to us. For you youngsters, the case was televised from beginning to end.
