RE: FSU at USF
I just don't see it. It's nothing against USF but the only team of consequence USF beat last year was temple. USF can get rolling but I don't think CWT is the guy. Had they went 6-6 or 5-7 last year they'd have fired him. I think a pissed off fsu beats USF. If fsu would've won at Louisville they would've sleep walked into this one and USF would've won.

A team that gets beat by 10 is pissed. A team that gets 63 hung on them is a train wreck.

RE: FSU at USF
Should have been a sellout months ago. It's f'ing FSU at home!! It'll be a good crowd but 10k empty seats vs FSU won't look good for Big 12. Expect the early kickoff photos to be all over Twitter by the Twitter sports "comedians", if not full at kickoff

Look I'm not making excuses here, but you realize we play in an NFL stadium. AND the bucs play the very next day. Not exactly easy to sell out, no matter who you play. Especially when you are coming back from a god awful 3 year period.
We are confirmed for > 11,000 in our student section alone. I think the general is over 57K already, in spite of FSU returning a bunch of their tix. Admittedly we're struggling to get everyone back who we lost over the last 3 years, but this game will be a big step forward.

not to hijack this thread with attendance garbage but that's why I think I've heard UCF officials use that "Orlando is the largest market without an NFL team" line to tv announcers when the Big12 expansion convo comes up.
USF can be a Top 25 team but if Tampa thinks the Bucs are a possible playoff team it's always going to draw ticket sales away from the College Team in the City.
I know a Noon Kickoff doesn't help at all bc it will be brutal outside.
As far as the game goes I think Dalvin Cook finally shows up this season and has a big game and FSU's D shuts down the sweeps on the edge putting the pressure on Flowers to beat their defense with his arm.
Noles 34
Bulls 20

LOL. I know you and KL will be searching for pics.
I'll be at the game snd I'll take a win over an extra 10k. The original $85 a piece for upper decks was too steep and after the UL massacre and the game on tv at noon many passed on.
I'll be there rooting my Bulls. Enjoy FIU you guys should break that long streak of not winning vs an FBS team.

It's not FSU at home... More hate and jealousy from a team that hasn't beaten a FBS team in 650+ days.

USF wins this and ESPN goes on to say over-rated FSU is.
My guess is that USF gets up by 15 or 16 and FSU makes it a one score game at the end.
As stated earlier, focus on jamming up Cook and make the QB do something. He was horrible against UL.

RE: FSU at USF
If USF rolls no one will care if it were 50 or 60k there, just win Bulls. If you lose then people are going to criticizre everything. Btw UCF fans who keep shamelessly comparing your school to USF because you think you have a better chance at b12, you don't. It's either you're both in, or you're both out. The average American doesn't know squat about either, USF is doing as well as can be expected, and I really think they're on par with ucf if not ahead in some areas. If 11k students really do show that's insane. Good luck Bulls.

Yes kind of like it's a Big deal that Ohio State beat Oklahoma but for Houston ... to bad Oklahoma is down.

If USF can get 3 turnovers they win. It's that simple. Go USF!

FSU doesn't lose twice in a row. Going to be very difficult for daBulls. Would be easier if Noles were still ranked #2 and undefeated.

RE: FSU at USF
If USF wins, it only hurts Houston. The media will say FSU was over hyped and over ranked. They will downplay the Peach Bowl win. If Oklahoma keeps losing, they will get the same "over ranked and over hyped" media treatment. At that point, if Houston goes undefeated, the media will only consider the Louiseville game a real quality win. Yes, Houston will be in a NY6 bowl....... but the CFP committee will be handed a bunch of excuses on a silver platter to use to keep it a P5 only playoff.

What if USF runs the table and we have to play them in the championship game?

If USF ran the table, their ceiling is ranked upper teens or higher by the time the championship game happens. There will be too many P5 teams for the committee to choose from that they can make an arguement that they had better quality wins, along with a tough conference schedule.
But it's a moot point, UCF is gonna beat USF before that game happens
