I would have to say... WMU almost doubled NU in first downs and time of possession... and had almost 100 more yards... thats a huge win right there... This Northwestern team was supposed to be one of the strongest defenses we played all year... and we seemed to hold our own... almost 40 minutes time of possession!!!! WOW! On the road... on real grass... I have to say... thats something in and of itself!

Anyone else excited that we actually have a BALANCED offense? I used to love the ole' run and gun high flying throw it yard teams... but they always seemed to either score too quick for the defense, and end up getting into huge scoring games where we just couldn't keep up.... or 3 and out too often... I love being able to run the clock ... love being able to RUN THE ROCK!!!!
