I will say, one of the things our coach mentioned is that apparently everyone has the Texas State film, because everyone has tried since that game to steal Texas State's gameplan and use it to beat us.

Unfortunately, we've already figured much of that out.

AState sweeps its 8th straight opponent beating Georgia State tonight in Atlanta.

AState's streak of 8 straight sweeps was broken when UT Arlington took the 3rd set over us tonight. We still beat the Mavericks 3-1 for the 1000th win in program history.

We play Texas State for the Western Division and potentially the overall conference championship Saturday Night.

Well, we lost to Little Rock last night so.....whatever. Unless we beat stATe again (very unlikely), we're out of contention.

The 2nd Division champ is already named. You see, if we win tonight you guys will be the 2 seed in the conference tournament, as in the number 2, as in not 1st place but 2nd place.

Something about losing to Arkansas State several weeks ago, we probably used sorcery.

AState/Texas State has begun, and is on ESPN3.

AState takes the first 2 sets comfortably

AState blows out Texas State in a match that was never close. Clinches at least the 2 seed in the conference tournament, will share the conference title and get the #1 seed in the tourney with a win at Little Rock next weekend.

Nice job ladies. Really proud to have the kind of program they're putting together.
