Trash is a strong word but when a kid walks out of practice on his own and quits on his teammates, they deserve some criticism no matter who is coaching. Otherwise, you have anarchy on your team.

Coaches get paid enough to take the heat. Nobody is forcing them to take 2.7 mill a year. Fan is short for fanatic. An 18-22 year old kid doesn't deserve the same criticism, unless he's an habitual law breaker or commits a heinous crime like rape or murder. You missed the entire point of my post, but that's certainly not surprising. I was not comparing people criticizing coaches against people criticizing players. In fact, there was nothing said about players until Hoop brought it up. I was pointing out his inconsistency in complaining about people criticizing Arky State - when he is criticizing Memphis fans and coaches over and over and over again.

Coaches get paid well to take justified criticism - no doubt about it. Even more so, other schools deserve criticism on our message board. They also get paid well.
