No, maybe Wake, but not Duke.

Definitely wake.
Any school belongs in the ACC over Wake Forest...

I still don't understand how a school like wake doesn't get kicked out. They are literally the Tulane of the P5.

They have won an ACC championship in the BCS era. NCSU and UNC havent done that for 30+ years.

Any team would and should. In the long run even if the B12 does fall completely apart just like the Big East did you'll still be better off than those that got left behind. My main point is the woe is me ECU posters saying if this happens just shut the doors are being silly. It wouldn't be the worst thing that's happened to ECU in realignment in even the last 5 years much less be the end of the program. And the idea that this would be the absolute last time any team is added to any other power conference is so silly it shouldn't even have to be said. The idea that this would be the forever end of conference realignment is just dumb.

May not be forever.. but if they go to 14, looking at how long the SEC/BIG 10/ACC and PAC12 are locked in it's going to be a longggggggggg time before the chance even comes up again. And realistically, for ECU there are really only 2 shots you'd even have and that's the Big 12 and the SEC. One of those has zero chance of happening, the other is happening now. No chance for ACC, Big 10 or Pac 12 obviously.

Obviously the B12 or SEC would be ideal. That being said, if the AAC and the MWC form a league they will still have a chance to get their champion in the playoffs or in a NY6 bowl virtually every year.

I just hope the P5 doesn't split from the G5 even if UH gets into the big 12. I would still enjoy playing G5 schools like rice, ecu, or even smu.

Wow, your generosity means so much to us peasents

Hey I know where UH has come from and I have to much respect for teams that have been stuck in our situation to just say F*ck you if we get lucky to leave.

Oh good grief. Now yes if the AAC were gutted I think we should reconsider the south side expansion as I don't think it would really be necessary or financially feasible, but other than that it would just be business as usual. The AAC would still be at a minimum as good as the C-USA 2.0 that ECU resided in for about a decade.
If we loose 3 we are screwed. Wish it wasnt so,but we will be.

Ecu played good football long before all this foolishness and always will. Too good of a college town to not get good recruits regardless

They're 23-33 in the ACC since then too. A blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. Syracuse, WFU and BC are all scrub football programs. And it's been a long time since BC and WFU did anything in any sport.
