RE: The beginning of the end has begun at Baylor
This isn't an NCAA case. It's a Title IX federal lawsuit. Briles isn't going to survive the first deposition unless he lies under oath. He'll lie under oath but still won't survive.

Again, this isn't an NCAA case. If Baylor is found guilty of openly and willingly violating federal civil rights laws established under Title IX, they'll be up **** creek. Good thing they're used to it since the campus is adjacent to the Brazos. The school could potentially lose federal funding for things like pell grants and research dollars.

Baylor will be the perfect example school to be punished. Universities have ignored rape for far too long and the wrath is coming. Can you imagine a President Clinton with the chance to have her attorney general take Ken Starr's campus down? That's likely the real reason he was the first to get the boot but it won't matter. Baylor is in deep ****.

@tyoung_01
I don't think I can play Baylor football without having my headcoach back leading the charge coach Briles did everything by the books!!!

I'm told the #Baylor regents board completely flipped on its vote against Ken Starr and turned on Briles. Starr may be staying.

IS it wrong for me to troll the Baylor fans and media that are saying Chad or Tom will go to Waco right now?

The interim coach is already a former SMU coach

Tulsa fan are sweating bullets right now. Montgomery is a no-brainer for Baylor if they can stand hiring from within Briles' tree. Hopefully, they decide that path isn't a good one, and they go a different direction.

@BruceFeldmanCFB
Ppl like the cliche "it's not the crime, it's the cover-up," but in the case of #Baylor, let's not forget the crimes were awful & heinous.

Is Todd Hermann a combo of Todd Graham and Tom Herman?

RE: The beginning of the end has begun at Baylor
Actually, the one school that might be in danger of losing their head coach is Tulsa. Phillip Montgomery was the long time OC for Briles--so he makes a lot of sense from a football point of view. However, Tulsa my be safe. If these cover ups have been going on for a while, it may be that Baylor will need to steer clear of anyone on the current/recent staff and will need someone with no ties at all to Briles.

Houston lost Sumlin and Briles but that's before the new football stadium, higher salary $$$ and other major facility upgrades.

Herman has a good thing here in Houston... Now, if it UT or Ohio State gigs become available... ... ...
