It was probably on so early because the NBA also has to work with Canadian TV partners, who may want games on for TV at different times than US TV partners.

Spurs open a can of whup-asz on the Thunder. SA could be the team to beat with an iffy/less than 100% Curry. Lots of games to be played yet...
Speaking of that, some big time games on tomorrow:
Charlotte at Miami Game 7 (1 PM)
Indiana at Toronto Game 7 (8 PM)

That dream was game 6. They got owned today in game 7. It will be interesting to see who Jordan re-signs in the off season.

I went to G6. We played well but D Wade wouldn't let the cHeat die.... I respected the effort the team put out that night. G7 ..... da hell....I can't believe we got owned like that.
That said, while at the game in Charlotte I scored a #2 LJ jersey, a nice fitted cap, a free purple "Enter the Swarm" t-shirt, and a nice "Buzz City" black shirt. I'm stoked about the LJ jersey. If we had won, I might have double dipped on a purple Kemba Walker... as they had my size. That was my first NBA jersey purchase since I got a Reggie Miller blue and a Michael Jordan black way back in ... 1994/95.

RE: 2016 NBA Playoffs
Interesting end to OKC/San Antonio game last night. Yes it was a foul that they didn't call, but here are my two takes on the in-bounds play. First of all, the NBA shouldn't allow the fans to be so close to the action - they are interfering with the ability for the Thunder player to in-bound the ball. Secondly, Ginobli wasn't 5 feet away. If he gets within 5 feet and they're not moving him back, I'd push him back too just like the OKC player did.
Not a fan of either team, just don't like seeing all the whiny Spurs fans complaining about it this morning.

RE: 2016 NBA Playoffs
The result was exactly the same: it was a turnover, offensive foul or not. SAS had a chance to win on their end and didn't. I could see if he got the ball in bounds and the Thunder were fouled but the Spurs still got the ball and so in the end, justice was served. Maybe the Spurs should have called a timeout when they got the steal.

Cavs taking Hawks behind the woodshed with NBA playoff record 18 threes in the first half. Fully healthy this year and playing some of their best basketball, Cavs are serving notice they will be a tough out in the playoffs. Lots of games to be played but encouraging to witness for Cavs fans.

The way they are playing the Cavs are going to cruise in the East...but the team to beat is...was...and still the Warriors...

I have no idea why the Hawks consistently turtle when playing the Cavs. They are going to get swept again

Agree that until someone knocks off the defending champs...I just like how the Cavs are playing right now with everyone healthy and this should make a better matchup against the Warriors if the Warriors and Cavs meet in the finals. A lot has to happen yet...

Yep. They bring out the best in the Cavs. I can see Atlanta winning one game but for all intensive purposes put a fork in 'em they're done.

I think the Cavs match up really well. Irving can assault Teague and get him backpedaling, which is where Teague gets exposed. Millsap is great, but so is Love. And Horford is great too, but Thompson can assault him on the glass. And then there's Lebron. Without Demarre Carroll who can they possibly put on Lebron?

I have no idea why the Hawks consistently turtle when playing the Cavs anyone beyond the first round of the playoffs. They are going to get swept again
FIFY. Been happening since the Hawks won the NBA Championship....when they were located in St. Louis.

I noticed tonight's game was actually close, but break out the brooms... this series is over.
