Sounds like Kirby Smart is bringing more ideas from Alabama than just changing open records laws to benefit the Dwags! Already starting to not like the dude, hope he's an epic flop up there.

Looks like Kirby is implementing GaSt's punishment for implementing the Satellite camps. Pretty dumb move by GaSt to give the middle finger to the powers that be. And don't think the timing of the satellite camp ban and the budget cut rumors is a coincidence.

Unfortunately we all may suffer. Maybe they will come up with a % that impacts GaSt and not Ga Southern since they are the offender. No doubt Kirby is trying to become dictator Saban.

Jim Harbaugh was the lynchpin, not James Franklin. Your trolling is pretty obvious.

You think Kirby liked it the idea of Penn St in his backyard? I'm sure he was very upset with GaSt. Can you not see Kirby wants to rule with an iron fist like his mentor Saban? Not sure why you think the above is trolling.

Of course he probably didn't like it, but what Franklin was doing pales in comparison to what Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh have been doing. Subtract what those guys have done and this ban probably doesn't even come up in the DI agenda.

But the fact GaSt participated in allowing a B1G team come to the heart of UGA's recruiting territory was viewed as a middle finger to the people that control GaSt's funding. Richt didn't care but there is a new Sheriff in town that is trying to set the tone during his honeymoon period.

Kirby already flexed his muscles by having the legislature change the FOIA law.

The thread is about the P5 flexing its muscles and the Rumor that the state of Ga may be doing the same seemed within topic. The fact Ga State's actions with the satellite camp could have triggered this seems to also be within topic.

If a new thread is needed let us know. No problem at all following what you want done.

Just my opinion that it was a very bad move for GaSt to host the satellite camp in UGA's backyard. Could be wrong.

Your right it is just your opinion. Penn state was last year anyways 07-coffee3 this all came up because harbaugh moved his whole team to Fl. Which shouldnt have been legal anyways. Should have been coaches and assistants only.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once at the number three, being the third number to be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it."

Kirby wasn't the coach last year. He's already exerting his power as evidenced by him getting the FOIA law changed.

He prolly mentioned it to an AD or president who changed it but he didnt up and do it him self. UGA cant get out of there own way. They feel they are elite yet have been consistent at under achieving. True most of the sunbelt would kill for their record. But if i was giving out an award for most delusional fan base it would be them. But back on topic i do believe our susidy has dropped the last two years. If this were year twenty for GSU then id be concerned.but it is not and we are still building and growing.

Some crawfishin going on with Representative Carter. UL would not be affected by his proposed bill. The article does not specify if UL Monroe or LA Tech are exempt.

Update on HB 971

This is not good. This makes it seem as though this might not be a "throwaway bill" but something that they are seriously considering debating, at least in committee.

Well they've got to make sure there's plenty of money for LSU to operate somehow.
