At this point I'm sad to see it end so quickly and it feels rushed, but its' been a hell of a tv show.

Tyrion is gonna get killed for helping Jamie go.

IMO Jon has to kill Dany. He's got the motivation to, he really doesn't want to be king and he's one of the few people that can get close enough to kill her. And since most will understand why he did it, he will probably just get sent back to the night's watch for doing it.

I'm guessing the throne will go to either Sansa or Bran.

Bran sitting on the iron throne would be the ultimate "Chaos is a ladder" ending.

Alternative theory.

Dany is killed or abdicates to go back across the sea where she is loved and feared.....

John declines the throne to take the black , or becomes warden of the north...

Gendry Baratheon as the last surviving issue of a king of Westeros.

John kills Dany, the dragon gets mad and kills everyone, and Robin of the Vale takes the throne.

There is no Nights Watch any more, nor is there a need for one. North of the wall is wide open and mostly uninhabited now. Ned Stark wanted to develop the new gift. Land of opportunity now.

She should fly back to Dahrio, but she probably won't. Who kills her? Everyone is predicting Jon or Arya. Who else could do it?

So Yara Greyjoy has the Iron Islands. Robin Arryn has the Vale. Gendry has Storm's End. I don't think Bronn has High Garden yet.

Bronn. Where is Bronn? I could see him killing Dany and/or Drogon. Will Tyrion get another trial by combat? Doubt it.

And what about the Glovers? Those cowards bailed on the Starks.

Brohn has no reason to kill anyone. His contracts are now void since Cersie is dead. So, I guess he gets High Garden.....though it was always a bit presumptuous of both Jamie and Tyrion to award High Garden. Its really not their's to give away. Jamie has zero power to award High Garden and while its true Tyrion is the queen's Hand---its still ultimately up to the queen.

They could give GoT's resident "up-jumped cutthroat" an interesting end. Or a lame off-screen resolution in the epilogue. Probably the latter.

The main plot points in the show haven't been bad this season, but man have they been executed terribly/rushed all because the writers want to start work on star wars and don't want to do game of thrones anymore.

Regardless of that, the acting and cinematography last episode were fantastic. Some of those shots looked like beautiful paintings

RE: OT: Game of Thrones Discussion - Potential Spoilers Warning
My guess for the finale, FWIW:

Daenerys is in firm control now. The most likely path I see for her near term removal is assassination via poison, betrayal, or subterfuge; but she now wary and trusts no one - especially if she is aware of Arya's special gift. Indeed, one of her first acts should be killing Jon and Arya. Daenerys said herself she must rule by fear.

Another scenario, although remote, is Daenerys - horrified by her action - express remorse and returns to her true home to the East and lets Westeros' rulers (what is left of them) sort out governance.

It will be interesting to see if the writers find a logical ending that does not cheat the audience.

Bittersweet means someone has to die. If they show that little girl with Varys again in the previews, we'll know what's going down immediately, and grab the stupid hankies. UGH!

Does Tyrion dying = bittersweet enough? Good question.

Everything was fine, right up till Drogon took Daenery’s body and flew off to Narnia. After that it was a shitshow, save for Ghost and the Small Council meeting.

Why is there even a Nights Watch to send AeJon too? Its basically a prison system where you can choose to leave and become the Wildling King if you want. Now he’s king of the “real” North. Good going Grey Worm. You sure punished his ass!

Sansa is queen of the North, you know the place where the Wall is? She can pardon Jon and Bran wouldn’t say ****. Who’s going to fight for Dany’s ghost now that the Unsullied are the Naathian National Guard. By Dothraki rules Jon should be their Khal now.

And don’t get started on Arya the Explorer.

“Where in Planetos is…Arya Stark!”

Simple answer for Arya. West of Westeros is Qarth.

She can report back to Sam when she returns.

Was garbage. The writers mailed it in to work on star wars and ruined the best show on TV

Given the possibilities, this was probably the best case scenario. Did y’all really think Jon was gonna fight Grayworm and take the iron throne? Or that Dany wouldn’t die? That doesn’t mean it was good, but it was the neatest ending possible IMO.

I was all for Dany catching one in the ribs, I just hate the plot holes so big a Deathstar can pass through them on the way to some Disney money.

The wildest thing I've seen is the people that are upset that Bran is on the throne because he's a white male.

Guess his handicapped points weren't enough to overcome his cisgendered white male privilege disadvantage?
