Tomorrow's game against FAU has been designated this year's Bartow Classic, honoring the father of UAB athletics, Gene Bartow. A piece of every ticket sold goes to the Gene Bartow fund at UAB's Comprehensive Cancer Care Center.

Tomorrow's UTEP vs WKU will be celebrating the 66 championship. With a special video message from President Obama... :) game should be sold out.

RE: 2-6-16 CUSA mbb
Since starting conference play our RPI has leaked from 54 to 82 despite going 8-2. UAB's has gone from upper 70's to 99 winning nine out of 10.
As I mentioned back in December, once we got into conference play the top team's RPI's were going to be destroyed by having to play so many bad teams in conference play. And that we would be lucky to have more than one team in the top 100.
Is there a league wide strategy to address this epidemic? Is the new commish doing anything or planning anything?

We better beat FIU tonight. Thursday's crowd was better but still disappointing, hopefully tonight's will be good.

We'll be better next year as a conference. Just about everything that could go wrong this year DID go wrong. Plus, we're pretty young as a conference.

I'm sorry UTSA but you have a high school gym for your basketball team. Are there any plans for a bigger arena? My old high schools had a bigger gym.

I'd be more concerned with the middle school crowd than the high school gym.

High School, you've gotta be kidding. My middle school gym looked better. And may have been bigger. You shouldn't be playing in a
gymnasium atmosphere, especially at the IA level, you should have an arena.

I'll disagree in that a lot of small D-1 colleges in the northeast and south play in gymnasiums and it works for them, but this is C-USA. Being in C-USA meant something not that long ago, and hopefully with some investment it can again one day.

The NEC, MEAC and Ivies can play in what they want, we never play them, esp not away.
And Stevie Browning is the Human Highlight real today.

Stevie Browing has used the back door thrice!!! He took the tv, the microwave, and on that last one I think he took their kids. (For the PC crowd, I don't support kidnapping or theft in general)

I just realized that all 4 UTSA posters must be at the game since there is little activity in this thread.

How do you come back from losing a game with 108 points? By scoring 109 points of course.
