A 2 point win........as we graciously took a knee at the goal, before trampling your team on our way to polish the hardware.

Savor this 7-6 season, cause the one dimensional offense is exposed. Every game will be like the EMU game, except every opponent won't be EMU.

Yes, and technically Ball State is in 2nd, and EMU is in third.............but we all know the actual order 03-phew

Should you really be wasting time here? There's still plenty of time to get more tweets out before signing day!

Thanks.

Hey, I'm a CMU fan. I'm on pins and needles wondering if the Tom Brady of our time is shunning NE, MSU, and OSU, for the chance to play at CMU. CMUdoc said it was true. I'm just looking for confirmation via Twitter. Eventually, one of the media sources I tweeted it out to will confirm it. Am I in trouble with the NCAA 03-lmfao

I concur. A 2-point win at your place against us in the third year of Coach ShamWow's reign (and the first year under Bono for us), coupled with a 1-win difference in overall record sure is telling.

Now, can you tell us all again how "coaching is overrated in football," child?

Thanks.

Here's the difference in WMU recruiting and CMU.

Tranquill, Okafor, Falcon, Ferguson, Ash, we're all 3-4 star guys with multiple P5 offers. I don't remember anyone thinking ONE player would shock the world.

Contrast the Slappy response: "Getting Poljan makes us a major player in college football, like getting JJ Watt!"

Interestingly, Tanner and Falcon were two guys they were sure they'd swoop in and get, and just when they got their hopes up...........vanquished. 03-weeping

College football recruiting isn't like college basketball, where you can easily identify star talent, and where one player is rarely a game changer.

MSU is MSU because their roster is loaded with 3 star or higher athletes, not because THEY FINALLY GOT ONE.

I'm getting a little off subject, but the CMU Med School is an unmitigated disaster.... The former chimp program director is now on our Western's faculty....He bitterly disagreed with the chimps president on a host of issues...He quit and was hired here as an administrator..
The chimps student newspaper ran a survey asking opinions regrading tuition monies being used to prop up the Med School program
That is precisely what you reap by going on the cheap!!!!! Remember, they kick started their program with a whopping $25,000,000

CMU has been in a downward spiral for several years.

WMU certainly has is problems, all schools do, but continues to widen the academic/respect gap between itself and its MAC peers.

Ross appears to have leadership skills similar to our former president, Judy Bailey. Not good.

I don't think CMU has been in a downward spiral. They're better than expected with Enos leaving (then Enos of his new team Arkansas as OC loses to Toledo)... They tied for 1st along with us, Toledo, and NIU. I think they're going to be Better next year. But so should we.

I think he is talking about the entire school being in downward spiral. It is unlikely the CMU med school will make it past five years.

WMU's BTR is full and will expand. Engineering campus blows CMU engineering out of the water.

I was referring to the the University academically, not the football team.

We were 2nd. NIU won the title and represented the division in the championship game. No spin can change that and no spin can keep CMU out of 4th place.

While we're on the subject of the chimps, some guy on their board just said that CMU will have the deepest receiver corps in the conference next year. Can't make this stuff up...

Pooper, with time, is an accurate passer. His receivers can catch, but do little after the catch. In addition they have ZERO run game, so some receiver is usually catching or dropping a ball, giving the impression that they're "really good."

In the last 4 games, against mostly losing teams, teams sat on the pass, brought the house, and Pooper and his Pals looked Pretty Pedestrian (say that 3 times fast). Look for more of the same as the Oline can't block, and everyone will bring the house.

There's a difference in "serviceable" and difference makers. Antonio Brown, Greg Jennings, Anderson, the Davis brothers, Jordan White, Simmons, and Braverman are/were difference makers. Willis, Kroll, Rice, Roberts are serviceable. In fact the only receiver who was anything beyond pedestrian was their TE, who Id love to have had.

In a nutshell Bono ran a system designed to mask a boat load of weaknesses. The strength is their QB. Accurate, but immobile. Without a running game the offense is predictable, and teams will/are exploiting it.

Yes, exactly. And that TE and Kroll (possibly?) are graduating. So where the hell do they think is their depth? Outside of those two receivers, who did anything amazing? Or, even average?
