Pooper, with time, is an accurate passer. His receivers can catch, but do little after the catch. In addition they have ZERO run game, so some receiver is usually catching or dropping a ball, giving the impression that they're "really good."
In the last 4 games, against mostly losing teams, teams sat on the pass, brought the house, and Pooper and his Pals looked Pretty Pedestrian (say that 3 times fast). Look for more of the same as the Oline can't block, and everyone will bring the house.
There's a difference in "serviceable" and difference makers. Antonio Brown, Greg Jennings, Anderson, the Davis brothers, Jordan White, Simmons, and Braverman are/were difference makers. Willis, Kroll, Rice, Roberts are serviceable. In fact the only receiver who was anything beyond pedestrian was their TE, who Id love to have had.
In a nutshell Bono ran a system designed to mask a boat load of weaknesses. The strength is their QB. Accurate, but immobile. Without a running game the offense is predictable, and teams will/are exploiting it.
