Really "proud" to see the kind of effort the Panthers had yesterday! Outstanding game plan and play for the GaSt defense. Our offensive weakness has been exposed for everyone to see and the Panthers stepped up. Erk Russell said winning requires "a bad case of the wants" and I saw it in the GaSt team from pre-game and throughout.

Out of curiosity, a lot of state posters said they wouldn't want to go because of how horrible they would be treated. Who here from state went, and how was your experience?

I heard, for the most part, that your fans were great. Sounds like some of the students are asshats, but a few can be expected with any fan base.

I went, got there about 20 min before game time. I had a Southern fan ask me, "where is georgia state?" He didn't seem like the hugest Southern fan though.

The visitor section was fine, only the students (fueled by lots of alcohol) seemed to be a bit over the top.

I was surprised that we sold out our allotment to the game and showed up.

Glad y'all brought your band, that always adds to the atmosphere. Most of the time we don't have a visiting band. The game sucked watching as a southern fan but it was also special watching the state fans celebrate an important victory for their program. It appears to be the tide turning for state over the last few games. Good luck against San Jose St.
