And the final standings w/tie breakers
NIU and WMU tie for 1st as both as both finished with 2-1 records in the round robin of NIU UT and the Chimps.

Technically the Chimps and UT tie for 3rd, but using the final 4 format, where head to heads, and current caliber of play are used the Chimps are clearly not even the discussion. UT lit them up for 21 in the first and cruised to a win. Nail biters against crap teams like Akron and Kent followed by today's pathetic performance against one of the worst teams in college football.

Heck at this point we can safely say Ohio is better than the Chimps.

Where they stand using
Final 4 criteria
1. BG
2. WMU
3. UT

Big drop off

NIU
OU
CMU
Akron
UB

Balls
Miami
Kent

Yeah, but now you can't even beat a team that we blew out......at their place no less.

Your kind of like the Chimps. Digressing into awfulness.

Usually I can come up with a miracle that might keep your streak of dumb luck alive, but short of a BG bus crash on I-75 I can't come up with anything.

I am jealous. You guys are constantly very good, and great some years. You get it done, even if not in a flashy way. You represent the MAC well, and I have no problem with you being in the championship game again. I hope you win it too. Good luck.

They represent the MAC well?

I object!

They beat a banged up UT and BG last year and then got demolished by Marshall in a bowl. Once again they've backed in and are on the precipice of another blowout loss.

You know it, I know it, every bookie in Vegas knows it. 04-chairshot

If only NIU had played Toledo or WMU.....then we'd know who was better.

The top teams in the MAC West are very close...if it had been WMU or Toledo the representative would be about as good.

I just want what's best for the MAC. We're sending a representative that couldn't beat a beat up, injury riddled Ohio team....at home no less.

So the MACC will consist of BG going up by 30 and the ESPN announcers spending 3 quarters talking about the upcoming SEC title game 03-hissyfit

Remember when you squeaked by a UT team using a WR as a QB then got lit up by Marshall on national TV.

All we ask is make a game of it for a couple of quarters so I don't have to hear Desmond Howard drone on about Harbaugh

Can you still get a massive stadium expansion and move to the Big 12 if you go out of business?

Just wondered.

But seriously, we know your run of vodoo football can't last forever . Just hang with them for awhile and don't embarrass the West.
