It matters. Geeze.

Again... and damnit if I don't agree with Letterman two times in the span of 15 minutes... 03-puke.....

IF we would have beaten BGSU, it would have given us some space since Toledo plays BGSU next... and if they were to lose... it gives us a huge advantage.... you never lose a game and literally think it "didn't matter"... You do realize there are things like momentum, confidence..etc on the line too...

Even though Fleck backtracked a bit... even hinting that a loss doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things seems a touch reactive... Would he say the same thing if we would have won? (actually he probably would have, but with the taste of victory in our mouths we likely wound't be jumping on it like we are... ).

In a way, yes. To make them not get too giddy, and the ones deciding whether we win or lose the West are coming up: Toledo & NIU, and not to be riding high on being a 0-loss MAC team treading into the final 2 games of the most importance.

RE: BABERS > FLECK
Of course it matters. Silly to even consider otherwise.

I watched the game and not only were WMU players outplayed they were positioned to be outplayed (coaching).

Much confusion on defense unless running around like a chicken with its head cut off is defensive ploy.

WMU players balloon was popped. Their inevitable climb was stopped with a thud.

Mental hang over would be any commonsense concern.

WMU can beat NIU. I don't think NIU will beat themselves. Pressure is on the staff to make sure they don't get out prepared again.

As was pointed earlier, Baber's is 20 years older than Fleck, we will see were Fleck is in his mid-50s.

As pointed out earlier. IT MATTERED 03-banghead

We'd be talking about which job Peej would be taking if he had beaten BUGS like he did last year.
