RE: Liberty vs. GA State
I'm curious, do you people take classes on how to be this hostile or does bullying just come naturally?
I love good natured fun but I hate bullies.
Particularly ones who start crap just to start crap.

I'm sorry, this is for eagleditka. Liberty can say all they want. It's game week.

Wow, kind of salty. Was an honest question to actual conference mates not pretenders. At any rate if you thought it was difficult covering SIU receivers ...lol.

Also, nobody has ever driven down to our 2 yard line and then taken a knee. So there is that. 07-coffee3

Even with the loss and poor play with Liberty vs. Southern Illinois on Saturday, keep up the bravado thinking that GaSt is going to run over LU. You are kidding yourself if you think that is going to a blowout. But with your first FBS victory this year, that does give you something to feel good about. Congrats on the victory. And get prepared for Saturday.

I saw the game last night. Other than runs straight up the middle your defense can't stop anything and certainly not mid range to deep passes. You guys made SIU's offense look amazing. Don't shoot the messenger.

It will be decided on Saturday. And there are a surprising number of SBC posters who jab at GaSt because of past performance. The pleading to win by some shows their concern. All you have got to do is begin winning FBS games to be credible. FCS victories help FCS programs, but you are FBS in the SBC. A credible FBS program is supposed to trounce FCS teams. The naysayers here prodding GaSt are not supporting LU, they reacting to GaSt past program performance. It wasn't until stones were cast that responses were warranted. Have you ever paid notice to how many times you use "lol" on all your posts? Must be one happy guy.

LOL. It's so obvious by this post that you're hedging your bets for when you lose. So then you can say, "hey like I said, we were supposed to lose, but we didn't lose as bad as we should have!!"

Grow some fuzz on your peaches and put a real prediction out there if you think Liberty is going to beat Georgia State.

Ok Cowboy. Here's mine. I expect LU to win because LU is the better team. Yes they stubbed their toe yesterday. With the multi year history of GaSt being a poor team, and losing many games, I expect LU to win 28-24.

And I expect LU, to torch Coastal in Lynchburg November 19. And congrats on the SBC invite. It's going to add a little mustard to the 19th.

And I should have added some brackets to express the sarcasm that did not come through the posts.

No I do not expect 71k . We are playing Liberty. There will be more people drunk outside than inside because it's Homecoming.

As for the Coastal / Liberty game, no one on this board cares, especially in this thread so don't derail it.

But in the spirit of not dodging your question, I'll answer you but not discuss it any further in this thread. Coastal has executed horribly so far this season. If we don't improve drastically, I expect Liberty to beat us. But if our QB gets healthy and our secondary pulls its head out of its rear end, I think we win. But no, I'm not feeling too optimistic right now. My team is flat out not performing like we all expected they would this year.

That Southern Illinois team is not a bad football team. They lost to Indiana 48-47 the first game of the year and racked up over 650 yards of offense against them. They had 4 turnovers that kept them from winning that game.

Yesterday was the worst game of the Turner Gill era at Liberty, so I don't expect a repeat performance. We also played without our all American wr, that should be back next week.
I never expect an fcs team to beat an fbs team. It's a tough uphill battle, but it'll be a close game.

Kudos to you and the Coastal assessment. Just noticed a recent Coastal alum joining in the Liberty/GaSt discussion and making a comment so no intent to derail the thread. There have been hundreds of Liberty threads derailed without the help or need or Coastal fans.

2 to 3 touchdown victory for GaSt over LU. That is optimistic and we shall see. I'll bet the line is less than 5.

And Coastal, what's your prediction?

I predict that Georgia state beats Liberty by 2 or 3 touchdowns.

There is no line for games involving FCS
