Liberty vs. GA State
Liberty AD tweeted that Liberty has sold their allotment of tickets from GA State and would be requesting a few hundred more. Liberty has a good number of alumni in the greater Atl. area. We should have a good turnout for the game. Maybe we'll help your attendance issues. :)

You State people think we can get a win to preserve our perfect record against the FCS so far?

Played pretty well last two weeks except for crazy turnovers and two weeks to prepare. And the Charlotte memory is very very fresh.

What the hey are we looking at in your signature picture?

Is that the plan to turn a baseball diamond into a football field?

Imagine a special prevision to allow a field shaped like that for programs without enough room for a regular size field.

You have the entirety of the Sun Belt pulling for you! Help us maintain that perfect "no FCS loss" record this year!

It's the first step towards increasing the profile!

RE: Liberty vs. GA State
Interesting stat, Liberty plays 4 straight games where their opponents are coming off of a bye week. Not sure that's a great recipe for success.

If you pay attention to the Carolina Panthers you will notice that they haven't won after a bye week with Ron Rivera as head coach. This includes 2013 when they got a bye as the number two seed and shat the bed against San Francisco.

My point, if you couldn't tell, is that the team coming off of the bye matters, not the team that is playing the team coming off of the bye. How you spend your off time is important and it's up to the players to do their homework in that off week. Some players can't handle that, so really it is up to them to prepare more for you.

Sadly, I expect Georgia State to lose this game despite what they have shown the past two weeks.

RE: Liberty vs. GA State
In the history of the program... we have yet to win coming off a bye week. 0-6. 3 of the losses were to Alabama & Clemson. 2 have been to the Cajuns, including the 34-31 squeaker last year. Like last year it was coming of our west coast trip. Unlike last year, we still have running backs. Maybe this year is the year.

This is the year Ga St breaks their 0 fer after a bye week streak . . . . .

After next week, 1-6 all time . . . . . Get 'er done Panthers . . . .

I'm a little torn. Do I want my current conference mate to get a FBS win and perhaps raise the profile of the conference or the future conference mate not to lose to an FCS club? Hmmm ....

In the way you composed the scenarios, I don't think the question is that difficult to answer.

Just no killing puppies this year if State loses.
