ASU has a good defense. I believe I heard they picked up a DL from UAB. Freddie Knight was out for about an entire quarter. Could have easily been a different outcome. Their offense is explosive with Knight. Their #2 is a pocket passer and they don't have a strong enough OL to protect that type of QB against a team like Missouri. If Knight is healthy don't expect an easy time when they come to town.

They picked up a bunch of JUCOs.

End of the first quarter - Kent State trails Minnesota 3-0.

After the first quarter, Buffalo trails Florida Atlantic 2-0.

Second quarter scores -

Akron leads Savannah State 7-3.

And Florida Atlantic leads Buffalo 9-0.

Kent State still trails Minnesota 3-0.

In the first quarter, Central Michigan leads Syracuse 3-0 but Syracuse is in the red zone (I'm watching this one).

Halftime scores -

Kent State trails Minnesota 10-0

Buffalo trails Florida Atlantic 9-7

Akron leads Savannah State 28-9

Replay officials still up to their shenanigans in Syracuse. Reviewed but didn't overturn a big play by SU that looked to me to clearly be an illegal forward pass. Now at the end of the half, did not chose to review a SU catch on the sideline that replay clearly showed he juggled while laying on the ground out of bounds.

But on the other hand, CMU laid a vicious illegal hit on the SU QB that has knocked him out of the game. I'm really surprised the guy even got up after watching the replay. SU is playing its third string QB now, cause their season starter was already knocked out last week.

At the half Central Michigan trails Syracuse 24-10.

On the illegal hit northcoastrocket mentioned, Central Michigan defensive lineman Mitch Stanitzek was ejected.

Buffalo trailed Florida Atlantic 9-7 at halftime but dominated the second half. Bulls win 33-15.

BG and Memphis are tied at 7

Temple and UMass are scoreless. So are Ball State and Eastern Michigan.

Chips tie it with 7 seconds left. Barring a Syracuse miracle, they're going to overtime in the Carrier Dome.
