DL Brendan Siwajek - 6'3" 270 lbs.

Pretty good looking walk-on. And Dakota is a big time program that plays a lot of good competition. He had offers from Valpo, Morehead State and Davenport.

Not the most ringing of endorsements.

Not sure how he graded out CMU with a B and WMU a C given that we lost our top recruits and still have a better group of commits? Only a few more days to NSD. I think Lezzer is mulling the option of WMU vs PWO at Penn St.

How do you hand out grades before NSD? Not to mention, every recruiting site has our class ranked above Central's. That includes Trieu's own site, Scout, where WMU is currently 2nd in the MAC and CMU is 5th.

It is great to see how many commits we are getting that had offers from the service academies and Ivy League schools. Men of character and intelligence.

I mentioned before I think he may be suited to play at safety. Looks like a solid get. I think there are still a couple maybe 3 more to come by Wednesday.

Yeah, I think he is a safety for sure.

I can see Arnett as a guy that commits. Not so sure about the others. I'm hoping we could get Harris and Ellis too, but have a feeling Ellis is a longshot, and we have a 50/50 shot on Harris. Seems there is some mutual interest from Wyoming.

How do you hand out grades before NSD? Not to mention, every recruiting site has our class ranked above Central's. That includes Trieu's own site, Scout, where WMU is currently 2nd in the MAC and CMU is 5th.

State champs had a signing day special on FSD yesterday. the grades for the MI MAC teams were a segment. Trieu did say that there were several days left for things to change. I don't take much stock in what many "experts" believe. We should feel ok about the class given the way things went down. To get a decent kicker to replace Butch may be the biggest addition, good thing Fleck didn't need a K or he would've taken him too. I don't see many true freshman contributors this season unless a WR steps up.

Agreed.

Then again, think Moreland has something to do with it? I would trust his judgment more than most in such matters.

No kidding, came out of no where. Not that we should but if we're going after him, then why haven't we gone after other D2/GLIAC kids? Just curious why this one kid.

Clearly this decision was not made based on D2. Doesn't mean we go after every D2. Decision based on the individual and the potential we see in him. Think Trevor Sweeney, etc. lots of people can contribute without a D1 offer.

The young man is 6-4 240 and they must have confidence he can make a contribution down the line. I trust Lester and Morehead to make reasonable decisions.

True true. I totally agree. Recruiting is just confusing. It's just hard for someone on the outside to understand why they do what they do.

Very excited to say I will be continuing my academic and athletic career as a Bronco at Western Michigan University!??

I'm guessing he is a PWO.

LB Jack Knipper - Beavercreek, OH, Beavercreek HS - 6'2" 235 lbs.

His tape is decent. Big, strong kid.
Dayton newspaper has Knipper 6'1" 245 lbs

He kind of resembles Buster!!
