Well what's your reason, that was the point of the poll. Also UCONN has been playing FBS less time then any school in this conference yet y'all are the one not content that is funny. Basketball I would get but you guys could always drop football and go to the Big East if it was that big of a concern. However you guys were able to win the National Championship in this conference in basketball so it is not holding you back to much.

I didn't see the poll when the post first went up. We've been FBS as long as USF, I believe. What matters to me is that we were in the same conference with a number of northeast "P5" teams, some for over 30 years, and now we're not. Temple is now the closest geographic school and we have virtually no history with them in most sports. Again, just because you think UConn fans should be satisfied with our situation won't make it so.

A paycheck thats at least 50% of the P5 and a legitimate shot at the playoff.

Memphis is supposed to be in a league with Cincinnati and Louisville. There is nothing as a Memphis fan that depresses me more than knowing because of good leadership at UL and horrific (for a long time) leadership at Memphis, we had to watch their metaphorical taillights disappear into ACC land.

I'm not as miserable as a lot of the responders in this thread have articulated; however if the gap in income isn't mediated the performance gap in football will only grow.

I'm with you, but the recruiting thing hasn't really played out that way from what I can see. They have been playing that game for a few years now and UC is ranked 54th in 2016 fball and 10th in 2016 bball. That is on the high end of where we have been in the past. It's not just us either. We are actually recruiting just fine as a conference compared to the past from what I've seen.

I want UCF to have a quality schedule with regional opponents and fair OOC scheduling agreements. I want post season opportunities that reflect the team's performance, and not to lose half our staff every time we have a successful season.

The first sentence is achievable within the AAC, the second probably isn't.

I would be very happy with (1) HALF as much TV money as the average P5 conference plus (2) a guaranteed playoff spot for the AAC champ. I think that is reasonable and the least that we should settle for.

I would want the top 2 choices - the tv money and the guaranteed bowl spot. I'd settle for 1/2 the tv money and a guaranteed bowl spot.

I want the NCAA or somebody to say it was wrong for UC, UConn, and USF to lose P5 eligibility only because the league they were in was raided/torn apart and they should get theirs back (and I know historically some other AAC schools were in the big time as well).

Or an act of congress to break up the monopoly that is the P5.

I also want a million dollars right now.

All of the things I just mentioned I wanted will not be happening.

For me its not about who we play but instead the respect that we get. If we were close to ACC on money, access to major bowls and tv coverage then I would be fine. I personally love playing Uconn, Cinci, Memphis, Houston, ECU and others.

I could be "content" if we could expand to land a few more strong teams (CSU and Air Force), land a contract in the $8-10 million range and be guranteed a spot in a major bowl against a P5 opponent.

I would be "happy" if we matched ACC money and got a guranteed spot in a New Years 6 bowl

Don't take this the wrong way as I'm not attacking you. I'm just showing you my opinion.

If your opponent is making 40 million a year and you're only making 10 million a year, that financial disparity will show it's self sooner then later. That disparity will reflect on field performance and national perception. Perception also drives the influx and or drop off in fan support.

In short, either you're in a Power Conference or you're second fiddle. Nothing else is going to change the perception of fans other then being included among the elite.
