ECU will be announcing in the coming weeks plans to complete club and loge seat complex on south side of Dowdy Ficklen Stadium according to new board minutes. Have heard they're aiming for a Cincy/Va Tech look.

Boren says Big 12 would not have to cut TV $$$ pie into smaller pieces with expansion, which qualifies as news.

Bowlsby confirms pro rata clause in TV contracts would match shares if league expands. But revenue from NCAA, CFP would be split more ways.
Dan Wolken@DanWolken Big 12 people have been adamant for months that no expansion is coming for a variety of reasons (money split, no great options available).
Dan Wolken@DanWolken But if the Oklahoma president is saying that a 12-team model is preferable to 10, that qualifies as something different.
“I think it’s something we should strive for while we have the time, stability, all of that to look and be choosy,” Boren said. “(We) can be very selective about who we want to add. It would have to add value to the conference. I think we should.”
“How many years can this go on?” Boren said. “Finally, it just gets to be really debilitating. I worry about that. That’s something I just worry about long-term about the conference, not short term.”
“The elephant in the room remains the network south of us (Longhorn Network) that has struggled and has in a way as long as it’s there,” Boren said. “And we have done quite well with our network and if anything ever changed, it has value to it which we see. But someday, maybe we’ll get past that other problem as well. It’s a problem.”
“The contract says that our main television contract … if we grow from 10 to 11 or 11 to 12, their payments to us grow proportionally,” Boren said. “So everybody’s share stays the same. If it’s ‘X’ dollars, it stays ‘X’ dollars.

Will be announcing new football & basketball facilities soon, stay tuned. Committed to competing at the highest level
this means that BS about adding two teams who must each bring $25 mil is BS. They can add two teams and NOBODY loses any money.

If they go to 16 like I have said, they'd give up nothing. The only teams who would not be playing Texas and OU yearly would be Iowa State and WVU. Iowa State has said they would rather not have to play all those teams yearly already and WVU want's travel partners. Problems solved.

I can never tell if you're an insider or just having a laugh.
What schools wouldn't like Memphis, UCF, USF, and UH? Why?
Who does Tulsa know? It seems weird to block out SMU and consider Tulsa.

I've heard rumors that Cincinnati would have enough votes, but it's probably internet BS. Do you know anything about that?

I was making a joke that none of us made it so down the list is Tulsa. Cincy got the votes (8 or 9) but the 12th (Memphis) was shot down
That was more of an informal poll as they still don't want to expand

Tulane is my pick to go to the B12. If Texas likes them then they will be in soon enough. I also think that BYU ends up in the B12.

The biggest hangup here is the LHN and their cancer greed revenue sharing.
The B1G adding a none popular football member to their league, Rutgers, proves the above statement is quite what it is.
