Will do, Boone is pretty big when you don't know your way around. Also I believe we were cabbing it cause we didn't know where to park and the only place we had been told to go was that Tapp room place. Next time i'll make sure to go to King
The bars are a little different than when I was there (I graduated in '11 and worked in the area until '13). Here's my list in order:
Bars:
tApp Room
Boone Saloon
Galileo's
Portifino
Murphy's
Town Tavern
Klondike
Char
Parthenon
the rest
Breweries:
Appalachian Mountain Brewery is one of my favorites in the State, and The Local on King St is decent (I've only been once).
You can walk to all these places from campus with the exception of AMB. Next time you're out I recommend parking on campus or something if you have a DD, but if you don't and you have to cab it home make sure you move your car before game day.

River St. Ale House (old mellow mushroom- sollecito's building) has a better than average bar menu. I've enjoyed it the times I've been.

I wasn't bothered by the comment. I haven't been out in Boone in a really long time, so I'm not qualified to defend the nightlife. I am going up in 2 months for an alumni golf tournament, so I'll get a chance to check out the current state. Regardless of nightlife, Boone Trail Motel and Apts is the bomb, you should stay there. Only $25 per bed. I know that would take a chunk out of most Georgia Southern fans' life savings, but its worth it.
That is quite the deal. I spend so much more than that when I stay in Statesboro. Are there buck-toothed hillbilly women there as hostesses too?
The only employees I saw there resembled the people from The Hills have Eyes.

I'm going to sue whatever cab company drove us around that night...

There is one cab company owned by a girl in her mid to late 20's and it is pretty terrible.

That's a nice list, but not sure I would go to Bandana's, Woodlands, or Peppers for drinks. I've had a good time at Makoto's.

The dumbest post of the day.
There are 10 or so college bars within walking distance of campus and double that amount of places to get a drink within the same small area. There are also 2 craft breweries (not counting the on-campus brewery).

Klondike was the only place there when I was in school and it was a Greek hangout with real cheap beers. Allegedly, the previous owner used to give girls free beer tabs for the semester for hooking up with him. The other side of campus has some decent watering holes, and there may still be a few on King Street. I don't blame you for knocking Klondike, though, I enjoyed it when I was in college. Only place I know you can buy $1.00 Busch Lights in a can at a bar.
Parking on King Street or Queen Street is a good option, though Queen Street may be all meter parking.
Klondike used to have good local bands in there in my day. I've seen Old Crow Medicine Show and Southern Culture on the Skids in that little room. Some acquaintances of mine played in a alt rock band called Agent Ink who played there all the time including on my 21st birthday. A b-day shoutout from the stage led to a dozen beers poured on my head.
