Well there ya go, I'd even realize that.

If we had just won one of those midweek games this past week we might be in the top 30.

I don't think we will be able to wash the stank of those losses off, though.

yeah, losing to citadel and unf was no bueno. if we win those 2 games, we are definitely top 30.

And no votes for Southern either, yet, there's UGA. South Alabama gets a vote though.

Coaches polls are not great. Most coaches dont get to review all the teams up for consideration and who the played/how they did. Polls like D1Baseball that have a large staff of established writers that have all seen multiple teams this year and compile their rankings are much closer to reality.

Yes we will, it's baseball! It's way too early for rankings to matter and we've got another crack at both of those teams.

Well GS that sucks well it sucks for the Cajuns too but you guys swept Georgia and they get in the poll maybe they thought they were voting for you guys, no respect just keep winning

Cajuns are not in the USA Today Coaches poll. I dont know where Warren Nolan is getting his Coaches Baseball poll from. We did knock Alabama from #25 to #32.

In the last two weekends the Sun Belt now has three series wins (Arkansas State over Louisville, UL-Lafayette over Alabama, and Georgia Southern over Georgia) over teams that were ranked in at least one major poll. I know many have said this is a one bid league this year, but with the top of the league showing well, does the Sun Belt have a chance to put more than 1 in regional play?

Great observation, Chiefs— those are three big series wins for that league. I could see this being a two-bid league or even a three-bid league if this keeps up; there are a lot of strong mid-major programs in that conference, programs with a history of making regionals. I feel like there is plenty of upside for the Sun Belt

Both Arkansas State and Georgia Southern are getting votes in the National College Baseball Writers Poll...which is one of the 4 major polls. Cajuns are not listed.

I'm not sure where Warren Nolan got his coaches poll from week 3 but the Cajuns were never ranked this season and I think he made a mistake because week 4 we are nowhere to be found on Warren Nolans Coaches poll after the Cajuns won the series against Alabama. I just think he made a mistake on week 3s poll because we wouldn't have fell from 28th to out of the Top 50 after winning a weekend series from Alabama. Here is week 4s poll where UL is not in the Top 50

Those are the five major polls. There are some smaller polls at College Baseball Daily, College Baseball Central, and Perfect Game USA...but the other 5 are now seen as the big polls.

I dont understand where they get their rankings. Im not trying to say Jax St. Needs to be in the top thirty but if Auburn and Kennesaw st, both teams we have wins over, why not us.
Hell we had auburn swept except for a questionable b9 call.

I'm saying that Warren Nolan made a mistake posting the college Coaches poll for week 3. I'm very familiar with his site and the 2 Baseball polls he post on his site are Collegiate Baseball Newspaper (CBN) and the USA Today Coaches poll (Coaches).

In the week 3 Coaches poll he had UL ranked 28th, then after winning a 3 game series against #25 Alabama we aren't ranked in the Top 50 for week 4 Coaches poll. I'm just saying he made a mistake by having UL ranked 28th in week 3 Coaches poll.

Believe me, after being ranked in the Top 10 all of last season and finishing as the Unanimous #1 in every poll that I got to know every poll from Major to Minor, from USA Today Coaches Poll to Joe's Pub Poll :)
