His paycheck has an extra digit on it compared to his high school salary. Not saying that he couldn't get more somewhere else. But he's getting paid this year, for next year. There is no doubt about that.

To leave early would either speak to his character or to how bad the situation has gotten.

Wouldn't say anything about his character, people change jobs all the time to better themselves and their families.

Does anyone here know who Josh's agent is?

Doesn't Josh let his attorney handle everything for him, contactually speaking? I don't think he has an actual agent. I could certainly be wrong.

I agree that people change jobs all the time (including myself). We can agree to disagree on this one. He's here this year for a purpose. If he leaves, it's a bad look for him, the program, or both.

Why is it a bad look for Lawson?

For the same reason it would look bad for any of us to start a job with certain commitments and just decide to bail.

Well, because he is here for one reason; and is getting paid a year earlier. Is he on the bench because we absolutely had to have him for his expertise, and it couldn't wait until next year?
