I don't know what your typical crowds look like, but if you can maintain a high level of support, I have less concern than I did before about being in a conference with you guys. I hope our fans get up for your trip to CT.

Thanks. We are so pumped up. We have looked at this group of kids - mostly Juniors now, for a long time. They have the skills and talent to go a long way, but they have had a lot of growing pains. Woodard has been a sometimes inconsistent star ever since he's been here (that wasn't the only time he's dunked over a post in that manner) and Shaquille has come on of late and when he has room, is almost unstoppable driving to the basket. Both have NBA talent imo. The one that will make us really good is Deandre Wright our 6-9 245lb post who can shoot the 3 ball, but hasn't developed a postman mentality yet. Our entire lineup will be back next year and we've evidently got a very good 3 pt shooter coming in which will make us a better team.

If TU mens BB is really back, it will be a big deal. I remember during our elite 8 run when Bill Self coached here and the team went to Dallas to play SMU. Almost everyone in Moody was a TU fan - a great crowd somewhat similar to the atmosphere last night, but in the Metroplex. That won't happen this year of course - as long as Larry Brown is in charge.

??????????????

I finally give u guys some props and this is your response??

Maybe you missed the part where I said you guys are for real.

Bearcats#1 Panic is the one true troll Tulsa has. LOL! Always has been. It just depends on what mood Panic is in when he posts. Before Doug Wojcik was HC at Tulsa we always had crowds like this. A game like UCONN was a guaranteed sellout. Tulsa lost a lot of momentum as a program during Wojcik's tenure. Wojcik always blamed the school, the city, the state. Whatever! Anyone but his own coaching. During Wojcik's time we rarely ever won what could be considered a big game. Never got to the Big Dance while he was Tulsa. We would win 20 games a year but against crap teams.
Fans hated his style which Man to Man defense based. His offensive style was slow and boring. He considered any zone a Junk Defense. Almost never used it. How he was at Tulsa for 7 years I will never know. It finally got to the point that fan attendance had dropped to so low a level that the President of the University was forced to fire him. In other words he got run out town on a rail. Good riddance. He did virtually the same thing at the College of Charleston and was fired there almost for the same reasons.
Tulsa started its turnaround when they hired Coach Manning. It continues with Coach Haith. Sorry this turned into a wall of text but that was Tulsa's situation coming into the AAC. Tulsa can now get back to what we once were.

That game in Dallas was incredible. Was it two or three OTs?
