And I seriously question whether he is the better player.
And I question your bad chemistry remark as he lead the team to a winning record. That second sentence doesn't deserve a response.

RE: UAB vs UTC
Tough to say who was "better." Chad was an offensive player on par with mo Finley, vaden, millsap, sanders, Delaney, etc. The team didn't seem to have good chemistry with him and he was a terrible ball hog. I also don't respect someone who hits their girlfriend.
I'd probably take AJ. He did it all, made the team better, and became quite a good scorer in his final year.

When Chad was on he was a scoring machine. When he wasn't, he was a turnover machine, and he was off far more than he was on in that sense. AJ made the team better no matter what he personally did.

How hard is it playing with four stars in aj's case compared to Chad's three stars? Most still hate chad for his incident with his girlfriend and, which I understand you're a better human being than chad and should be congratulated.

There is zero doubt chad was the more talented player. There is zero doubt Aj was the better teammate.
What is up for debate is whether a guy like AJ was better than a guy like chad on the court. Chad could literally(and do) carry the team on his back. AJ could not. Chad had his flaws, as did AJ. People tend to forget how many times he turned the ball over. Put the two on the court together and you have a hell of a 1-2 punch. If I have to have one based purely on talent it's chad. If you have to have one based on trying to form a team, give me Aj.(and I don't love AJ as much as many on this board)

In what way was AJ not a good leader?
We all have our opinion. Mine is that AJ is a better basketball player than Chad Frazier. He's not a better scorer but he's a better overall player (again in my opinion). I think playing good defense, being a one-man press break and getting the ball to teammates in the right spot are key parts of being a good point guard. I think AJ did all of those things better than Chad. I think Chad is a really good player but AJ is better.
And AJ didn't have a bad freshman year, he had a bad sophomore year. He had some tough spots as a freshman but played well for the most part, including hitting the game-winner against Houston.

AJ had the benefit of having 2 of the best shooters in UAB history to play along side him for 4 years. And the first 2 years he had Lawrence Vadelaney. I'd get 7 assists a game playing with those guys, and they are 20 years younger than me.
Not bashing AJ, because I think he was a fantastic talent. But in order for someone to get an assist, someone else has to score after you pass them the ball.

That's what I'm saying. Plus didn't like aj 's Davis scowl I think he got into players worst than Davis at times.

Is Chad in the pros somewhere right now? And Squeaky is apparently lighting it up in some Mongolian league now. You have to factor in more than he is just a much better scorer than he was in college.

Mo Finley was at the LSU game. We spoke for a minute. He is playing basketball in France.
