They are sure running it pretty well.. Last 6 runs i've seen they've been getting 5-6 yards per run.

Announcers show Sun Belt standings and say GS is a newcomer and ineligible for a bowl, but App state is bowl bound even with one of their wins being over a PFL FCS team. LoL.

They've done so little research on USA and the Sun Belt it's pathetic. They've made about 8-10 mistakes in delivering information so far.

Nobody wanted to see GS play UF last year either......

Herbsteit should not have lumped South Alabama in that group. But I think the point he was making was regarding SEC non-conference scheduling, particularly in late November. It is a joke.

If we ever get the G5 champions in an auto bid situation to an expanded playoff - They'll learn the difference pretty fast between the FCS and the G5.

Agree with this. The late season FCS games are odd and if a key player on Alabama gets hurt, it can impact the national championship.

The SBC needs to win more P5 games so that we aren't lumped into this group.

I haven't read this thread yet so forgive me if I repeat a previous post. Herbstreit made that same comment on Gameday on opening day in 2007. Remember what happened that day?

It am so sick of both TV and radio commentators llump g5 schools in with FCS. And that seems to be the norm any nobody corrects them.... I do every chance I get

Herbstreit knows the B1G counts on him to promote the conference and try to chip away at the SEC when he can. It has been a nearly impossible job recently and this year his task is to get a B1G team in the playoff. So what does he do? He tries to use the sec FCS games yesterday as propaganda to completely discredit the entire sec's schedule. And by him putting ohio St at #4, he completely showed his agenda.
