RE: Does anyone else feel this way? Apathy
I think MissJ just got tired of all the "APATHY" around here and is still a real Tiger fan. If she actually painted Koko that way, she did it just to pizz some folks off on her way out the door. The success of the football team has lot to do with it since I've been watching it so much I didn't get as invested in basketball until it was upon us. It's all good at this point.

Just a waste of good brain cells to agonize about whether he stays or goes. Not my decision. Coaches come and go. I always stay.

Bingo.

Silver and Gold... This song was written in a hotel room in New York City round about the time a friend of ours, Little Steven, was putting together a record of Artists Against Apartheid. This is a song written about a man in a shanty town outside of Johannesburg. A man who's sick of looking down the barrel of white South Africa. A man who is at the point where he is ready to take up arms against his oppressor. A man who has lost faith in the peacemakers of the West while they argue and while they fail to support a man like Bishop Tutu and his request for economic sanctions against South Africa.

Am I buggin' you? I don't mean to bug ya. OK Edge....play the blues.

RE: Does anyone else feel this way? Apathy
Here's my uninformed and illegitimate take on the "apathy" situation.

I think my feeling of unease is in part due to that we: a) have Top 20 facilities or better, and b) pay our coach Top 20 money, yet our results are consistently wavering towards a program ranked somewhere in the 40ish range or so.

It's like going out to eat at an upscale, fine dining restaurant at $100 a person, but only experiencing Outback Steakhouse quality food, drink and service...it's okay, but just not what you'd expect for the money invested.

I used to love those loaded fries back in the day when I was allowed to eat that pile of potatoes, cheese, sour cream and bacon deliciousness. :)

Ain't a damned thing wrong with Outback. Those richies out East can't appreciate a good Big Bloke.
