That's freaking hilarious... Loserana Lafayette fan crying because they came in second because they lost at home to a transitional team GS beat by 3 TD's.

The embarrassment, jealousy, and anger is somewhat understandable.

There's nothing embarrassing about coming out second and going to a bowl game. It's not embarrassing losing to an App team that was hot on a winning steak. What's freaking hilarious is that you have to start name calling like a little kid. I think it's funny!

The thing that is sad is since y'all didn't play us, y'all have to use App St to try to put us down. I don't hate GS. I am glad we added both GS and Appalachian St and got rid of FIU and FAU. I believe we will have a better conference now.

Its just sad that some of their fans are not gracious winners, but have to try to get a dig in. When we won the co-championship last year we didn't go around putting the other conference teams down. It's pretty immature.

Congrats on the SBC championship!. Enjoy it, y'all deserved it.

So using the Cajuns fans logic, you guys should not be able to claim the title next year if you win out because you don't play us 04-rock

Has anyone stopped to consider that maybe ULaLa fans are salty because we've done something in year one that (if CFBdatawarehouse is right), they have NEVER done by winning an outright Sun Belt title?

Lol, the key is you have to keep changing the criteria. I'm guessing the 2015 champion will have to beat the 2013 champion for it to be considered legitimate.

ULM fans are people of few words for the most part. You can't usually count on them to fill out a thread.

Unfortunately, we as ULM fans have way more room to talk trash to the SEC and ACC than to the SBC.

Nahhh, because TXST plays GS, stAte & UL next year and will win out to be the undisputed 2015 champ..

GS under a new coach, will miss out on one of the four belt bowls after facing a much improved Sun Belt and then will whine about how they should have gotten a ncaa-waiver in 2014.

I'm happy for y'all. I know it's exciting as a fan. We were terrible for decades with loser coaches and a President who would not put finances. Into the sports programs.

Until the last 4 years we had years of embarrassment. So it is exciting now that we have a new president and is updating all our athletic facilities. 4 years ago we hired coach Hud who turned our program from a 3-9 team to three 9-4 seasons and 3 consecutive bowl wins and this year we are on that track again with a 8-4 record and a bowl game. Our coach used to be the lowest payed coach in the sun belt, now we have one of the highest paid coaches and its exciting to be a fan now.

We haven't enjoyed the success that GS has, but hopefully things will continue to be successful for us. This senior class was the first to have success their entire college careers, so I'm happy for them.

Last year we had the chance to win the conference title outright by winning 1 of our final 2 games. Two games we were big favorites but Broadway breaks his arm in the first quarter of the final 2 games. We lost both games without Broadway and had to share the title

You can read about the $115 million dollar master plan to improve all sports facilities. Cajun Field is planned to be expanded to seat almost 70 thousand fans.

We played the schedule Ga Southern should have. Then all this extra taunting would seem more fitting.

We don't play at least every other year in a 11-team football conference? That's strange.

I want to know why people think the clock wasn't stopping for ULM on their final drive. I watched it stop every time they went out of bounds or got a first down. I screamed for the ref to wind the clock quite a few times after the ball was spotted.

When ULM got a first down, they were just starting to move the chains when they started the clock. The ULM QB thought he would have a few seconds after the first down for them to move the chains but I'm not sure if they even stopped the clock at all. Just what I observed. You could see the clock running as the sideline chain crew started to move the chains, I could be wrong but if you want to know for sure, you can watch the replay and I know you can see the clock and chain gang at the same time. I didn't review it.

Another time it looked like the ULM guy landed clearly out of bound, I think his back hit totally in the white and the ref wound the clock.

If you're going by the clock on the TV, then that's your problem.

I watched every excruciating time it stopped on the scoreboard IN THE STADIUM.

I agree that the clock isn't supposed to start until the sticks are set, but that's actually a disadvantage to the defense. ULM's offense was trying to go warp speed and setting the ball for play that quick keeps the defense from getting set quick to match the offense. It's a symptom I've noticed from watching hurry up offenses since they came in style.

ULM did burn a lot of time at one point when forward progress was stopped in bounds before their player went out of bounds. They must have thought the clock was stopped because they burned a good bit of time before the next play.

First of all, this person asked a question and I told him what I observed, yes on the TV because I didn't have the luxury of being there. The one you mentioned where the QB must have thought they went out of bounds because he was just taking his time is the one I thought he was out of bounds also, but I only had a TV showing replays. I'm not sure if he was out of bounds but at the moment I thought he was. If you really want to know watch the replay. You will have a disadvantage though because the replay of the game is on TV if you have your computer connected to it.

I was just answering a question. No one can challenge the call

I was just saying that the clock on the score graphic can't be taken as true. The only clock that's accurate is the one in the stadium, or if that malfunctions, the time that the back judge keeps on the field. I've seen TV clocks get beyond screwed up.

My point is that the reality in the stadium didn't reflect what was on TV/ESPN3 if the clock there wasn't stopping.

I don't have to watch the replay to know that the clock was stopping when it was supposed to. The clock may have started running again quickly, but that's what hurry up offenses want, so it's a double edged sword.

Just wanted to ask the ULM (and any others that traveled to Statesboro this year) fans that were able to make their opinion on the gameday atmosphere. Were you impressed, disappointing, surprised by anything, good, bad, and anything in between.

I hope to make a few away games over the years and just wanted to know what other fans thought about our gameday experience.

Didn't want to start another thread, but maybe we could have a 'civil' discussion about what people thought of different experiences around the SBC.

Before the game I saw two guys with ULM shirts and raised a glass (beer can) to them an said "Good luck guys! Thanks for coming to Statesboro"

They stopped, gave me a blank stare, and walked off. Kind of puzzled me.

You better start a new thread asking this. It will be lost in all the rambling on this one.
