Got the first 2016 verbal from Matt Little. A QB that was offered a few weeks ago. He is from Evanston, IL. Big kid and looks to be a real big get.
Older brother is a QB at South Dakota state.
It is super rare for any school to get a commit this early and I don't know if it has ever happened in the MAC. Usually if you are good enough to get offered based on Junior film, you will be getting multiple BCS offers.

Was just coming to post this. WMU has definitely reached the level of Power 5 schools in recruiting by landing a 2016 kid this early. Long way off, but regardless if he sticks or not, it shows how far the program has come this fast.
Here is Little's Hudl. It's impressive for a junior in high school. Was scheduled to take a Florida visit this weekend. Don't know if that is still on.
New thread! lol....very early get for the Broncos.
Big, athletic kid. Has a nice touch on his passes. Doesn't hurt that he has some good receivers to throw to.
I'm pretty excited about the QB talent we're bring in. Terrell has been playing like a boss, we have Stewart who will be fighting for playing time, then we're bringing in Wassink and now Little.

Andrew Parchment is a guy to look for. He is a 6'3" WR out of Florida who likes the Broncos quite a bit. He is friends with current Bronco Kadeem Gouldbourne and has made a connection with verbal Matt Little already. I think the Broncos staff are going to be real select with WR's in the 2016 class, so I don't think he is offered by the Broncos yet. If they do, I wouldn't be surprised if he verbals.
Western was very busy today making offers. Julian Love, Drake Spears and Elijah Johnson were a couple of the players offered.
There seems to be a change in philosophy almost. WMU is offering guys right now with BCS offers instead of getting in and being the first ones in on a kid. Going to be interesting to see if they can win some battles with a guy that was offered by Iowa, Maryland, or Illinois first.

A lot of kids who "thought" they had firm offers from BCS schools often find out late in the process that that offer is gone.
Thing is, I think a lot of these kids sense it, because the school stopped calling them, but the kid doesn't initiate contact to make sure things are still in place. Kind of like when a girl stops calling. You sense that it's over, but you don't want to call and get it confirmed..........not that ever happened to me

Western Michigan was the first to offer Toledo Central Catholic RB Tre'Von Wade '16 just last week. Toledo was the 2nd as they offered him the very next day. Wade was the starting RB for the powerhouse program in Toledo as a sophomore. He had around 1,700 rushing yards that season. His junior season, he split time with another stud RB (a sophomore) en route to winning a state championship. Both RB's surpassed 2,000+ yards in rushing. Wade also played DB this year now that he wasn't the full time starting RB like he was his sophomore season. Needless to say, he's a heck of a player.

If these kids want to come to what is promising to be a powerhouse program here, they would be wise to get in early. The word is out on the street. The Broncos are for real, the boat will fill up fast.

There is a junior day for us on Feb 21st. It seems the last couple of years Fleck has gotten some commitments within a couple of weeks of the junior days. With Matt Little in the fold already and helping with the recruiting of the next class, I wouldn't be surprised to see WMU add two or three in the next month.
Don't forget 2016 is really Matt Little, Kendall Hune, Darion King, Connor Guzy, and Delano Madison so far.
