Congrats Eagles. About what we expected. My takeaway if I am a non Georgia based member of this conference...100 points and 1100 yards of offense. What's it going to be like in 2-4 to come play in Georgia? Bottom line is as we expected, we have too many injuries on OL and DL and our defense is a train wreck. I think we need a boatload of January signees, an Omaha Steaks membership and to reevaluate our DC.

Regarding Dome acoustics, it's definitely bad for the bands. Not sure it's good for bands even with 71k in there because the roof causes so much bouncing of sound. It's actually great for crowds as long as you get at least15-16k in there because it makes it seem like double that. If you have say 5k not so much because you start getting that cavernous echo effect.

Panama, are you in that team photo?
No

Thanks for sharing the pics. Looks like GS had a good turnout. GSUs isn't horrible but I expected more all around. All in all not bad for a team that hasn't won much to get their fans excited. Hope GSU picks up that win before TXST plays them at the end of the season.

It does suck, but I bet there are several teams that would gladly trade places with GS (Seniors included).

They get to forever say they were the first. For some that is as big as a bowl.

And you were a no show on PT as well. I do feel bad for some of your guys since you were one of the champions of talk (didn't say you were the only one) and didn't help to back them online when it really mattered. I expected more out of you.

It's a shame, after all this time of back and forth between both programs over the years and you disappear game week.

That's some weak sauce my friend.

He was a no show at the PT tailgate as well. Nobody even knew where he was going to be. I'm starting to think he didn't even go to the game.

1) I am never at the PT tailgate.
2) I had another appointment at 3:30 and they moved the game from 6 to 2. I did watch the first half online though.

So we'll see you next year in Statesboro? I'll have a beer (or several) ready for you if you stop by.

I agree, just as the first bowl will a big deal, but you can go to a bowl without a conference championship. I'd want both but given a choice, give me the Conference Championship, we've got a flag pole with some vacancies.

You have no argument from me. Southern is a good team.

Southern is a good team. It's too bad in some ways though. This is a lost season being the second year of transition for App and GS. It's a great way to start, but don't know if they will be as good next year when it starts to matter. And I sound like a broken record, and I'm sorry for that, but we either need to get down to ten teams that play each other, or we need to get to 12 and have a championship game. There is always going to be the "but yeah, they didn't play State or UL" argument.
It matters this year, having a chance to be Sun Belt Champions matters, competing at that level matters, and there is nothing wrong with setting the tone and the expectations now.

I don't know. All teams and fans have expectations at the start of every season. Last year was last year.

The key to GS is the offensive line, and you guys have 4 seniors up there. Assuming GS wins out, they can claim a share of the title but not be in a championship game or post season bowl. I just think it sucks for your senior players.

Not as bad as it sucks for your senior players. But I agree with your point, we got jobbed by not getting a bowl game.

For shame Panama, for shame.

Dude, after reading the fantasy world on here and watching people trace each other over minutia, what would have been the point. This board has been the equivalent of the AJC comment section for the last 2 weeks.

You really calling our posts "fantasy" and bringing up arguing over minutia?? The term "pot to kettle" was made specifically for occasions like this. You are the undisputed king of arguing over any and everything and still have delusions of where your program is. Im glad I was not drinking anything when I read this. It was nice and less tense without some of the State regulars hiding though so all good. How you feeling about the 2015 prediction? 03-lmfao

On behalf of all the other in-bred rednecks that can never afford to raise the money for stadium expansion and SBC invite, I apologize for any asinine representations of your school. But I won't apologize for the accurate ones about your team.

Serious questions: What would you consider a successful year in 2015?

Also, what class is Arbuckle and #9?

I think it has to be 7 plus wins. CTM's first class would be Jrs. No more excuses.

Arbuckle will be a Senior in '15.
Donovan Harden and Joel Ruiz will also be Seniors in '15
Robert Davis (#19) will be a Junior in '15

Ok if 2015 is STILL the year, what is your prediction? I believe you will improve, I know y'all have played some close games this year, and I think y'all have improved since the ACU game. But incremental change won't fix this, something major must happen. Coaching change, philosophy change, big influx of JUCOs, something big that can let that side of the ball know, this ain't business as usual and this is how we fix it.

**OK you answered while I was typing** Will take a major change and some luck to get to 7.

Up to Miles. I dont think 3 or 4 wins is acceptable at this point and we have a new AD...who did not hire him. And by late next year you're pressing the flesh for $$$ for the Ted project.

Your offense should continue to score with those guys. The D has a long way to go. I don't know enough about your program, but the way players seemed to lose effort in the end, I suspect it's time for a change in defensive staff.
