The first number after the team is the number of WINS. The second number is the number of LOSSES.

If WMU had beaten Toledo, WMU would be 2-0, not 2-1. 01-wingedeagle

It was a typo.

It's a high-court misdemeanor -- and yes, a felony on one's record. I know you're a lawyer, but looked up a detailed explanation on a Michigan law site by a lawyer. (At least in MI) -- you can't serve the 2 years even if you are sentenced for 2 years, because it's (also) a misdemeanor and that's how they treat it in that context -- so they'd have to let you out after 1 year in jail -- one of the caveats about it. I posted the link to it on one of the forum threads here earlier when it was a hot topic.

Quote:Oh, forgive me! I feel like toddjnsn after a tranny charge (off the face).

If I charged you with a tranny in hand, and threw her all over your face -- well, it wouldn't be pleasant (for either of us). Just plain odd! :)

Quote:- A Toledo so loaded they're winning with backups at key positions and isn't going anywhere anytime soon
- A young NIU that can only be expected to improve over the next couple of years
- A WMU that, if nothing else, has shown it is on the rise, with another strong recruiting class coming in
- A Ball State that may be struggling now, but has a proven coach and may have found its QB of the future
- An EMU that, though it is only one win, is showing potential signs of life with Creighton

And that's just the MAC West.
- BGSU will be improving with their new coach -- their D can only go up, and their star QB will be back next year, as their new one is pretty good himself.
- Akron, with Bowden, IMO, will be starting to level-off to how good they'll be next year, which should be an improvement over this year's at least a bit more.
- Miami-OH has an "over-qualified" coach, they've improved and will only be getting better as long as he's there (knock on wood for Redhawk fans)
- UMass is going to be Even Better next year. They've improved immensely, although they can barely get over that "hump". They're GONE after next year, though.

Will Next Year be the Next "Year of the MAC" that will be on the level of 2003? Where big Mac fans will have MACgasms watching the MAC take out BCS teams left and right early next season? I sure hope so... we're due.

- Agree about BG. They should be even tougher next year.
- Akron has improved every year since Bowden arrived. I don't see them slipping.
- Agree that Miami will improve - I could see them taking a step up in the MAC East next year comparable to the step up in the MAC West that we have taken (so far) this season.
- I don't see UMass being a major factor in the MAC East race in their final MAC season next year.

I haven't seen enough out of Ohio, Kent State, or Buffalo at this point to convince me that they will be significantly better next year.

I do, in the same sense Miami has grown. They score a lot -- and keep their games real close. They're MUCH improved this year. An actual competitive team against, I would say, anyone right now in the MAC (who's not in the Top 3 and having their A-game at home). Still have room to grow and they're in football-growing mode/aim.

I agree, except Buffalo somewhat. They could be a possibility. Great O -- just bad D. They haven't played to their ability I guess and their admin+coach don't get along -- so if they get a Good coach, they have the talent to be where "they're supposed to be", as they're not getting a new coach not because of lack of talent. They could Possibly rise to the occasion and be a Tough team next year -- they have the talent to do that. I wouldn't Expect that per se, but I also wouldn't Expect them to be 'blah' either.

BSU will fold in the second half. CMU might lose if Pooper can fumble a few, but I don't see it. Lembo goes wobbly and tries to sit on leads

BSU lead up to 8 now. Rush threw a pick and BSU capitalized.

Lembo is too conservative. Cost him 7.

The Felon starting to heat up.

RE: CMU
The most obvious offensive interference ever and the MAC blind mice get it backwards.

This is my fear. MAC officials can turn a game on a dime, won't matter who we play, the refs are dangerous.
