Yeah they suck, but you can get hoops up to speed much quicker than Football.

I received a pair of tickets to go see USM @UTSA last Thursday so my coworker and I went. Both teams are going to have losing records...the game was on National Cable at 7pm on a work night and there was literally no buzz in town about the game . There were still 15,000 fans in the Dome. I'd say that is their baseline for fan support. That is better than some in the AAC.

If UTSA were in the AAC, Houston would have an instant rival. BL: the AAC can wait. UTSA would take an AAC offer over any league in the G5.

Despite the last game played with UH, UTSA is gonna have to take some time to be anyone's rival. Even SMU is not really a rival. UTSA's natural rival is Texas State.
