ECU Ranked #23 in AP
Extremely low but we'll take it!
I know it took us a while to get into the "Big East" but the more we look at it, I think the timing was perfect. Ruff was the right coach to make the jump with us.

I've said it before...you guys should have been invited to the Big East long ago. UCONN was not a school that kept you out. Anyone who opposes Carolina schools and/or the ACC is a friend of the Huskies.
A much needed and great addition to this conference. [/php]

Always heard the C7 did not like us, but what football schools did not want us in?

True...but don't forget...Even when Big East football existed, the ACC had the worst results of any BCS conference...

I will be interesting to see if ECU stays ranked if both Memphis and Cincy win. You would think they would, however, UNC dropped out of the coaches poll during their bye week.

Temple is getting close to getting votes in the polls too. Temple's next 3 games are UConn, Tulsa and Houston.

Who do you think is voting for Marshall? Such a weak schedule.

A weak schedule is no reason not to vote for a team if you think they are one of the 25 best.

Boise State for decades played a pretty tame schedule. Cato and the Herd are a pretty good team. The deserve votes.

They were 25 in the coaches poll
Dropped out of the AP.
I guess when ESPN shows ranking next to the teams they use the AP poll. I imagine they will use the committee's once they start announcing their rankings.
