UConn at USF Game Thread
Sooooo typical. The refs miss a horse collar. Then Whitmer fumbles on the first possession. Three offensive penalties in the first four minutes. Then it's all downhill from there.

That's UConn football. Bad luck, stupid turnovers, no discipline. We have a lot to work on.

Don't get why there's people sitting in the upper deck. Move down. They won't care.

The announcer just pulled out the old "were number 2" factoid.

skip never looked horrible vs fcs like usf did the last few years under CWT..

usf is the dominant recruiters in the league.. beating uconn shouldnt be the only thing they should be happy about the second year of willie

Well, I don't want too get deep in the recruiting stars/class conversation but they claim ECU's classes are all average or below average yet we compete at the highest tier in the conference we are a part of. Announcers have said all season how good we recruit...which isn't in line with the recruiting sites. What does that have to do with USF? Just think there is better recruiting coverage in Florida and a lot of those kids are getting ranked way higher than they should be. I think recruiting at the schools most think should be at the top of the AAC all have about the same true talent level, regardless of what the recruiting sites say.

I prefer watching live football looking down on the field personally. Maybe they do too?

i remember it well

Oct. 20, 1984 Memphis vs Mississippi State. The Tigers beat the Bulldogs 23-12 in what may have been the wettest football game at the Liberty Bowl. The thunderstorm caused flooding on the sidelines and the blue paint puddles in the end zones. The storm also caused wind damage in Shelby County. The wet conditions did not benefit Mississippi State who fumbled three times in the first quarter.

from this link, not by me

this looks a lot like that game.
