I don't think that I will ever understand somethings about current day football. The ball is on the 1 yard line. Instead of going under center to take the snap, the plays calls for the quarterback to take a shotgun snap that travels back 5 yards and then the running back has to run the ball in from 6 yards away.

This could be a fun game. USF, IMO, is ahead of UConn in the rebuilding battle. Diaco, as someone said, has to do more with less at this point.

Folks are pretty unfair with Taggert. The guy inherited a sh!z sandwich and it takes time to turn things around. I actually wish him good luck. I still dislike the Bulls, but this conference needs them to be good. Just saying..

Taggart made WKU look respectable, and now he's right in the center of his recruiting base with more resources. I think he can get things turned around at USF.

skip never looked horrible vs fcs like usf did the last few years under CWT..

usf is the dominant recruiters in the league.. beating uconn shouldnt be the only thing they should be happy about the second year of willie

If every stud recruit walked in and excelled at their position I'd agree with you. But reality is that 1 in a 100 Freshman are physically gifted enough to start and compete with even bad Juniors and Seniors. The physical size/strength difference is too much for most Freshmen. My point being Taggert's recruits will need time to develop and move the needle.

My guess is by the end of this season, this USF will look completely different, and better. To your point, once that recruiting talent develops..... well you get the point.
