my bad. I didn't realize you guys had other games broadcast on tv this year other than the first one. But then again that one I guess you lucked in to that one since the Ga Dome needed to move your game out of the way for other schools to play in it.

Lemons: Moved out of the way by Chik Fil A
Lemonade: Most viewed SBC game this year.

and that is great. but your great media market didn't get you that game. getting bumped out of the way by more important programs, forcing you to be the only game on TV was blind luck. nothing about your program or market got you that game.

and yet, that is still 1 game.

We going over this again? You really want to count the number of times we have been on TV in 5 years while sucking?

Go back to Cash Drop jokes dude.

and I'm pretty sure most of those were due to who you were playing, not because it was the mighty Ga State. At least on the bright side, you get to broadcast how bad your team is more often right?

Obviously our weak media market in Statesboro is really killing us this year.

You're the one trying to make a point here.

You sounded as if you knew. How hard would it be to say?

If you expect me to go look it up then I'll form my own opinion because it's not worth the effort.

RE: GS/GSU ticket sales
year 1 -1
year 2 -4
year 3 -1
year 4 -2
this year -1

and I'm basically not counting when they play on the pac 12 network, sec network. because let's face it, that has zero to do with ga state or their glorious media market.

So year 2 when they were in the CAA, they had 3 straight games on CSS in the beginning of the season and one on GPTV. So 3 out of 5 years they have had 1 regionally broadcast game that they might be able to claim was because of their great media market, with the exception of this year when they got booted from their own home field to let other teams play in it.

Can't say I'm all that impressed.

So far this year we have had/will have 5 games not on a conference affiliated station.

Honestly, CSS games don't count because you paid for the broadcast. I don't count the ones we had either. It's a very local broadcast anyway so the market doesn't really figure in.

RE: GS/GSU ticket sales
Look I hope GS has a huge turnout for this game and I hope GSU fans come out too. This has the makings of becoming a huge rivalry. GSU is getting better and their new A.D. has a proven track record. Lets pack the Dome and get this on some regional TV channels (black out in ATL of course 03-wink )

I just don't want to be GSU's 1st conference win this season (or ever 05-mafia )

A big crowd should make North Avenue nervous. They keep pretending like everything is A OK and now that they have scheduled themselves to 5-0 they cant stop slapping themselves on the back. But they are just a couple seasons away from being Vandy or Wake.

You would think after five years of stupid predictions that you would just stop. Has anything you've ever predicted come true?

I sense the phrase "media market" nearing this conversation once again. That or "dome" or "5000 tops" or "GSU."

And thus the cycle can begin anew.
