they are mostly historic rivalries

this has been Junes biggst complaint since joining smu..
he constantly noted thats not a good way to build a program ..
that playing 3 powers every year who have dramatically better facilities and recruiting to start a season is not how to build up a struggling program

many suspect that the reason they aren't trying to renew the Baylor/A&M games (only tcu) and signed a 10 year series with UNT instead ..
