How does that work with the other narrative of the meddling President big footing everyone to hire this guy instead of an as of yet unnamed mystery candidate?

Tim Lester was who Kathy put up to Dunn and he said NO. I played with tim and thought he was too young but he was a successful head coach.

Looking back he would have been a great hire in terms of having experience and being a real BRONCO. Age notwithstanding, since it really wasn't an issue anyway.

North Carolina basketball, Alabama and Michigan football have all gone downhill when they put a real premium on hiring guys with a background at the school and we have nowhere near that pedigree. Why would you want to hire the Western version of PJ Fleck? Are you concerned that his experience in the NFL instead of D3 is hurting him?

I will cut right through all that, I would rather have Tim Lester as our HC right now. EOD.

Brilliant sports take. Your reasons are well laid out, objective and insightful. I know you said EOD but I was just really impressed by the case you made for Tim Lester.

I'll make four salient points for hiring him over PJ.

1. He has HC experience.
2. He was a great Bronco.
3. He has won.
4. He's not a frosted hair douchebag.

"frosted hair douchebag" must have something to do with his offensive system or something since you are all about sports and not just some loser who knows everyone on this board and just tries to find ways to say they hate the coach.

I'm sure Tim Lester would be proud to have the support of a lunatic posting at 1 am a year and a half after he interviewed for the job though. Maybe you should write him a letter.

Good point, I have a personal predisposition against frosted hair douchebags, I should have left my personal feelings about some douche who runs around with his shirt off and frosts his hair out of the discussion.

Thanks for pointing that out.

You seem to have some personal animosity towards the coach as well as some sexual insecurities. If you don't want to see a shirtless picture of PJ Fleck then stop googling them. Why not just go root for some other team instead of hanging around here calling him names and pretending to care about Western football while bothering people who post here who actually are fans?

I was a Bronco long before this NIU guy was ever our coach, and I will be when he leaves and takes his boat with him.

He's a flash in the pan and there is no rule that says that I have to love this guy as our HC.

You don't have to love him but this strange obsession with his physical appearance and the animosity you display towards anyone who doesn't share your view point is disturbing. Most coaches aren't coaching where they went to school, thats not how it works. You can't root against a coach and for a team either. Their success is the same.

Row the Boat buddy.

I haven't said much about his affinity for frosted hair, not sure where you get that from, and he isn't so much a NIU guy as HE CARE LESS ABOUT BEING A BRONCO and came in with his new ideas for how we should act, as if we needed that before he started winning which he should have focused on.

I will be the first to row his boat down the Kalamazoo out of town, I don't like the guy.

You basically made psycho sexual comments about the coach and you want me to start talking to you about the offensive line to answer your weird challenge? You haven't talked "sports" all night post counting message board hero.

I've been talking sports since I've starting posting. Tonight your attacks and making it personal are making it hard to keep on topic for sports, granted, not sure what motivates you to flame like this.

I think you have an agenda.

How "much" do you need to say? You mentioned it twice...thats a pretty weird and inaccurate criticism to begin with and he sure seems awfully excited to be a Bronco from every thing I've seen. Criticism is fair but the guy is anything but unenthusiastic about his job and I'm sure spends more time than anyone worrying about winning.

I have no problem countering this one, he's excited to be a HC first, where is secondary, that's obvious to all.

You just said he worries about winning, how do you explain his quotes about going 11-1 this year?

Responding is not flaming. How is it you are talking sports but I'm not and we're talking to one another?

It also happens I'm a psych major too. So this is actually really good practice for my future career.
