Was he caught with pot or did he commit a real crime? Seriously, I do not condone the MJ but is this really smack worthy. Isn't marijuana training included in freshman orientation? He broke the law. He should be punished. I'm pretty sure there are players on everyone's team that are high right now.

Weren't C-USA fans throwing a hissy fit when someone brought up Marshall's problems on the C-USA board? Just worry about your program and your conference, why run on another conference board causing trouble? Especially when you're on the C-USA board complaining about how Big East fans are "obsessed" with you, and then you do this.

Well all the Big East fans will be happy to know that the punishment is in for Mr. Hill.

He will not be allowed to play QB anymore, he has been moved to WR.

Leavitt was planning on him being the WR anyway. Wasn't Hill the one that got caught with a minor? Hopefully we will not see him wearing a S. Fla shirt on the "to catch a predator" show.

I've documented Marshall's shortcomings off the field many times.

Like I said......if you don't want to hear about these things, have your players stay out of the news.

I didn't get arrested nor did I print the story.

And frankly it appears Leavitt is having a tough right now becasue 2 more recruits didn't qualify.

I just think it's funny that I posted an article out of the ST PETE TIMES with no commentary from myself, and I got the most over sensistive comments in response.

I just think it will take USF actually winning the big east before the other big east fans realize what is happening. As it is, USF gets to slide under the radar even in Tampa because the two beat writers for the Tribune and Times are both USF fans. When a team starts winning, the claws come out.

Hey as$h0le: what part of "I'm supportive of Carlton and we'll look into this, let it run its course and then make a decision on his future."

....did you not understand?

The Vasoline must be flying off the shelves in Orlando, b/c the Tinmen are in Full Circle Jerk Mode.

Actually, this is nothing we did not know was coming in Tampa. It will get worse before it gets better.

I totally agree with you on this one Cat. It is absolutely idiotic for a CUSA poster to post an article about a BE school on this board. It should have been posted on the CUSA and a USF poster or any other BE poster should have posted it here first.

But this is what you get when people are jocking what you have. And in some ways BE posters invite it when they continually talk about wanting those schools as part of this conference.

completely agree, imagine the circle jerk that must be going on their own board over this news. when ron ellis was arrested for sexual battery last year no usf fan ever cared to comment on it, let alone go to a conference usa board and gloat. and here they are tripping over themselves because of a marijuana charge to our 3rd string qb who's now switched to wr our deepest offensive position and was going to redshirt this year.

btw, outside of a few louisville fans who somehow believe ucf could help florida recruiting and reduce travel costs and lolly pop, who admittedly only wants them in so that the be can build up ucf and usf in order to trade them to the acc for maryland and bc ( 01-wingedeagle ). it seems like the general consensus is for memphis, due to their established fan base and liberty bowl ties. besides it is a moot point, we're not expanding until 2013 at the earliest and by then i think we'll either have better options for expanding or not expand at all. quite frankly, ucf fans have no business even being on this board.

LOL!!

Yea, USF with all of it's national titles, top 25 apperances, bowl victories, and national appeal really has TONS of say of who should be posting on this board.

What's really funny is YOU bashing UCF at this present time, when realistically we're way ahead of where YOU were in CUSA. Yet somehow the BE took you anyways.

When USF does something of significance, let me know.....

wamp, wamp, wamp.... okay than what about the cinci fan and a fan from your own conference that thinks you're making an @ss of yourself. we weren't exactly dead weight last year getting bowl elgible and finishing 3rd in the be with a young team and we're expected to make some noise in conference this year. i'm very happy being in the big east and being a part of a conference that can get huge tv contracts and bcs type exposure, not to mention being associated with programs with the history of pitt, wvu, cuse, etc. i have plenty of reason to comment on posts on a board for BIG EAST members. go back to your own board, usf was picked and you were not, and you probably never will be and definitely not anytime soon, so get over it.

and there in lies the difference with UCF and USF. He was kicked off the team, and for what, a he said she said that he still has not been convicted of. Mean while, Jimmy has let at least two kids on USF's team that have been convicted and served time for felonies.

Yep it was stupid, the kid should have known better. I just wish I was as pious as our Central Florida friends who feel it their obligation to point out the misstep of every athlete at USF.
That being said, posts like this should never be allowed on the Big East board by fans of schools from other conferences. These type of posts are nothing more than bait to incite USF fans, and Big East fans defending their conference brothers, to respond thus starting another flame thread. Bottomline USF and Big East fans should not have to "defend" their program and conference on their own board. These type of posts and the poster should be banned.

Defend, defend what, that is amazing. I could understand if this is just one slip up by a college kid, but every year kids are being arrested at USF and nothing happens. As I said, they had two kids on their roster last year that served time for felonies.

How hard is it to understand that its not your place to post this type of "information" on the Big East board. Just as its not my place to go over to the CUSA board and post an article that puts that conference, or one of its member schools, in a bad light. That should be easy to comprehend.

Apparently it's to hard for them to understand. It's like me running over to the SEC or Big Ten board and reporting about another program's players getting into trouble. They're going to rip and shred me and tell me to worry about my conference and my program. I'm sorry, it's pretty pathetic if you're running over to the Big East board everytime something happens and reporting on it. Worry about Conference USA because that's where you're at. Coming over here and posting occasionally is fine. But when you're trying to get high and mighty and claim you're just "reporting news" that has no bearing on you or your program whatsoever I'm sorry it's pathetic.

If you want a pissing match take it to the Smack boards. It's pathetic and you need to stop making an ass out of yourself and go away.

Good for you commenting on Marshall since you were in the SAME CONFERENCE with them twice. You have never been in the same Division I-A conference with South Florida. I have a better idea worry about your own conference and stop obsessing over a conference that you're not a part of. I think it's funny that you're OBSESSED with the Big East and South Florida. Take your whining over to the C-USA board. Thankfully this thread will likely be moved to the Smack board and we won't have to endure yet another episode of Central Florida fans whining and crying and b*tching and obsessing over South Florida.
