I feel differently. I know I'm biased byt I think ECU is better than Houston (thiugh we'll never really know). If Tulane could find a way to beat us, then I see no reason they wouldn't be able to do the same to Houston. I think UCF is just too good this year for that to happen...although Memphis almost proved otherwise.

For the record: I never supported Southern Miss in expansion. Financially they are in the red and they brought 0 market. The only new additions that are having good seasons in C-USA are North Texas and MTSU, and they are not kings of C-USA. The conference is not watered down. Just like the AAC, some of the established teams are having good season and some are not. Some of the new additions are having good season and some are not. MTSU has a good win over a solid Marshall team, and UNT has now taken down Rice, and Ball State. North Texas didn't play like a body bag team at Georgia. They also gave Tulane all they could handle in New Orleans. If Tulane had come to UNT, the score could have been different.

Houston is having a good season, and I hope it continues. I like Houston and hope they win the AAC. But, C-USA is having an exciting and interesting first season with the new additions. Almost 23,000 real people in the stands on Halloween to watch Rice @ North Texas is a preview to the kind of interest this new lineup in C-USA West is creating.

C-USA will fill all of its bowl ties. I think Rutgers will get to 6, but I don't think SMU can win 3 of its last 5. Will the AAC fill all of it's bowl ties?

You say that, but Tulane could have, should have, and would have won that game against Syracuse....................all they needed was the officiating crew that worked their game against North Texas.

Did you even watch that game? The score was 53-17, with SU's second team playing in the 4th quarter. There was no way that Tulane was winning that game.

FAU played inspired ball considering their situation.... I wasn't surprised they won, only in the score differential....

Tulane is improving, but not to point that will be dominate team in the 2014 AAC football season.
