We're not trying to be obnoxious, we just want the AAC blog back. Who would be a good person to talk to?
Michael DiRocco (4:47 PM)
atsKnight -- I totally understand your reaction and feelings, plus I also understand you guys getting annoyed with me for writing ACC. I'm not sure who you should talk to but I've notified my bosses and they are sending the info to the appropriate people.

Alex (DC)
Better QB? Shane Carden (ECU) or Teddy Bridgewater (Lville)
Michael DiRocco (4:54 PM)
Alex -- I'm gonna answer an AAC question. Bridgewater is my preseason pick to win the Heisman. He's fantastic.

Hey he answered my question!
Kyle (AAC Country)
Sorry to interrupt your chat. Is there any way you can pass on to the folks at ESPN that the AAC would really appreciate having a blog dedicated to the AAC on ESPN's website? Thanks
Michael DiRocco (4:42 PM)
Kyle -- I have notified people at ESPN about today's mixup and the AAC blog.

RE: #OccupyStanford Agenda Mothership (all ideas for message spreading, topics, etc.)
AAC relevant questions so far
Quote:andrew (ohio)
So this is where we chat about the state of Florida football? Cool cool. What do you think about USF and UCF chances beating ESPN darling Louisville this year?
Michael DiRocco (4:19 PM)
andrew -- Teddy Bridgewater. The kid's phenomenal. And he may be unstoppable, too. Gonna be tough to beat Louisville.
Quote:Gray (Monterey CA)
Why would ESPN eliminate the AAC's blog? Didn't the AAC representative beat UF in a BCS bowl last year? Don't they deserve to be covered?
Michael DiRocco (4:23 PM)
Gray -- I'm not sure what you're talking about. I just checked our website and the ACC blog is still there. http://espn.go.com/blog/acc
Quote:Michael DiRocco (4:26 PM)
OK everyone, I'm not sure where the questions about the ACC blog are coming from. It's up and running: http://espn.go.com/blog/acc
Quote:Scott (Raleigh)
I was told this is the AAC chat. Why don't they have a blog?
Michael DiRocco (4:36 PM)
Scott -- There must have been a bad link somewhere because this is the weekly UF chat.
Quote:Michael DiRocco (4:41 PM)
Everyone, I apologize. I wasn't reading the questions. The ACC blog is up and running. I have no idea why the AAC blog isn't. And this is the weekly UF chat, so there must have been some misinformation out there. I cover UF and this is a chat specifically for UF. I apologize if there has been a mixup.

Michael DiRocco (4:42 PM)
Kyle -- I have notified people at ESPN about today's mixup and the AAC blog.
Quote:Mike (Philly)
I'm not sure if you are dumb, illiterate or what, but we keep saying AAC, American Athletic Conference. Not ACC. And if you are trying to be funny, youre being a douche instead.
Michael DiRocco (4:43 PM)
Mike -- Nope, just incompetent. I read things wrong because I was going through questions too quickly. I apologize. This is the weekly UF chat, so there has apparently been some kind of mixup. I apologize.
Quote:Kyle (Florida)
Why hasn't there been any questions about the other Florida teams? The chat clearly states this is chat is about the "the state of Florida football" but all I get is Gator questions. Seriously, what is up with that?
Michael DiRocco (4:46 PM)
Kyle -- State of University of Florida football ....

Quote:OK everyone, that's it for today. Sorry about any mixup with the AAC chat. I'm sure we'll get that fixed for next week.Speaking of next week, we have a fantastic package set to go next week. Three of us -- myself, former UF OT Mike Pearson and SEC blogger Edward Aschoff -- got together and each drafted our all-time Gators team. We'll have the teams, the analysis, breakdowns, and other stuff all next week. Plus a chat where you guys can rip or praise us for our picks. It starts Monday, and I'm really excited about it. Check it out.

I don't understand what is gained by harassing an innocent person who cannot do anything about it. It is like those people on reddit who harass customer service reps at companies that they hate...like that solves anything.

He passed it along to his supervisor. Thats like saying protests during the civil rights movement accomplished nothing. Doing nothing accomplishes nothing.

Honestly, the fact that they have a Stanford blog is a joke in and of itself. Has anyone offered a rational explanation for that?

ESPN hasn't offered any kind of explanation for anything. The only people who have responded are the 2 SEC bloggers. To the best of my knowledge not a single email has been responded to.
