Is that the total cost? It's $20 mil per school exit fee but there's also the Tv contract difference but idk what that is.

Yes, especially if the difference is 4 to 5 million dollars a year.

I could buy fsu but not sold on clemson. If the big 12 limits it to 12 and fsu is on board, i would rate team 12 as

1) nd all sports
2) nd all sports but football+ byu football only
3) ga tech
4) lville & clemson tie
5) pitt
6) miami
7) tulane

if fsu is moving, you could really partner them with any school on the list

No they won't, or at least not for the next season.

The Big 12 will sit at 10 for at least two years to see how they like it before they invite anyone. They don't HAVE to do anything, there are no pressures on the Big 12 schools to have to expand like there were when they needed WVU and TCU.

I personally just don't think the equation will balance for the presidents making this decision. They'll get some concessions from the ACC, but won't actually leave.

I think they'll be B12 teams by 2013. I think the 2013 ACC raiding stops there. I find a 12 team B12 with Clemson & FSU to be unappealing. I hope they remain at 10, or go to 14/16.

Just because they're a fan of the ACC doesn't mean they can't accept reality. This isn't an opinion anymore.

I just voted what I would do if I were the president of FSU or Clemson. Which is "no." Nothing against the Big 12, I just don't think it's worth $20 million to get an extra $4 or $5 million for the next nine years, especially when you're losing geographic rivalries and important academic connections.

Oh really? When did FSU and Clemson accept those currently non-existent bids to the Big XII?

Until the invites are formally extended, and FSU and Clemson announce they are leaving the ACC, nothing can happen. Saying otherwise makes it just an opinion at the moment...

That's not to say it won't happen. Frankly, I think it will. But there have been no announcements of anything yet. So let's keep it in perspective...
